You specifically said in the mod's description that Requiem "is definitely not a requirement." And it's also not listed as a requirement in the list, so I download - and then find out that is a requirement. Little bit misleading. Just throwin' that out there.
This mod adapts two other cosmetic mods and adjusts them to be compatible with Requiem. You can think of this as a compatibility mod rather than a standalone cosmetic mod. If you want just the cosmetic tweaks, the base mods in the description should suffice.
Hello, spent ages looking for a mod that will convert all the masks (DLC also) to clothing (for Mage Armour) and allow you to wear hoods on top. This seems to fit the bill!
However LOOT is telling me the mod requires Requiem, is that correct? I dont have that mod.
Hello, I'm sorry for the late reply. I generally don't keep tabs on my mods after I make them unless I find a massive issue.
It does require Requiem since it uses a lot of Requiems values in the mod in terms of gold, enchantments, ect. I believe the two mods I've linked might be better suited if you don't want to use Requiem specifically. You can also modify the masks to clothing yourself using TES5Edit. Feel free to use my mod and just copy and paste the changes, they should be fairly obvious but if you need an additional tutorial you can likely find something on Google.
As a request could you make "Open Dragon Priest Masks" work with dragonborn masks too? i really want to use Ahzidal with an open face but i can't find any patch for this :/
This might be a bit late, but it should be noted that my skill for modding is basically zero. I can at best move variables around that other people have created, which is what I did to make this mod.
So the answer is no, I couldn't make that work because I don't know how to.
I realized now, after playing Skyrim again after a Hiatus that I may have broken some enchantments. I noticed this when Rahgot's mask was only giving me 70 Stamina which I thought was rather low. I'll be updating this mod in a bit for the few that use it.
Super late reply, and I apologize. I suppose I'm more answering for the benefit of other people. Generally I found it had a lot to do with load-orders.
You'll want this mod as below anything that might affect the Dragon masks, otherwise it'll give you problems.
Just to make sure I understand: none of the pictures show it in action, right? Except to show it clipping on mages robe. Otherwise I will see the mask with no hood. Is that correct?
Yes, what is on that character is the Archmages Hood which is totally separate from the mask. I will upload pictures to reflect this, thanks for reminding me!

Good luck!
