There are two files in download section. They are identical and both up to date. The only difference is that the optional file offers Enderal's vanilla system of handling enchanted and tempered items - tempering after enchantment is not allowed. Main file offers Skyrim's system - you can enchant and temper afterwards as many times as your Handcrafting level allows. You can upgrade from version 1.0 to 1.1 any time simply by replacing the ESP file.
If you would like to be able to temper Enderal's vanilla items after enchantment - check out the fix by Ratrace: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77364/
It said to download all files im sorry new to this can someone tell me is it just the .bsa and .esp and the scripts folder? Or just .bsa and and .esp in the data folder
1. Extract files from the downloaded archive into temporary location. 2. Select ALL extracted files and put them into your SKYRIM/DATA folder. 3. Say YES to merge SCRIPTS if prompted. 4. Launch Enderal Launcher. 5. Activate esp. 6. Play.
The room looks great, but the last room on the left on the first floor of the quarters was already a player room. The main quest directs you to sleep there at some point, and you can sleep in the bed from at least once you pass the Trial (maybe before then, I didn't try until then though). Does this add a new room, or just make the existing one nicer? If it's the same room, does the quest encounter work as normal?
Mod adds a new room. No, it will not interfere with quests.
I'm aware that there is a room where player'll probably have to sleep at some point much further in the main quest. But you hardly can call it your own - it is dark and empty, and all items in there are marked as stolen if you try to take them and until most recent Enderal updates player wasn't even allowed to sleep there.
I wanted a nice and cozy place to sleep and with some useful stuff around (like labeled containers - to sort things that I do not need in that glowing Safe Chest). And I also was disappointed that the blacksmith didn't gave me a full set of Keeper's heavy armour. Why would they give you the boots, helmet and cuirass but omit the gauntlets and shield is beyond me. And player even couldn't buy Keeper's armour and weapons. Not to mention the sorting nightmare with armour in Enderal.
I don't know what you mean. When I installed the game it used the old Skyrim esm. Even if the game modifies it, when I load the creation kit it uses the old esm which is useless since it is not the one needed to make mods. I need to know which file can be loaded in the creation kit to make mods for Enderal.
I even used the Skyrim.esm in the creation kit to be sure and it is the same old one.
HushedAssassin right. Although, CK will give you a lot of errors and I mean A LOT, and CK will crush A LOT before loading but eventually it will work. Fortunately, the ESP is pretty stable in the game. I was playing with it since German version came out and everything works just fine.
Just load Skyrim.esm in CK as usual and you're good to go. Sure AI simply named Enderal.esm as Skyrim.esm. And two ESMs are not the same. There is a huge difference between Skyrim.esm in Enderal and Skyrim.esm in Skyrim. Basically, they are from two different worlds.

PS: You are correct. It is a new version of it.
