This looks like a good mod, so I'm going to give it a try.
I have the Vlija mod, and to progress her story line, you have to travel overland with her. You can't just fast travel everywhere. I was playing yesterday, and I swear, we were getting attacked every 50 yards. :/
Also, we need a Temba Wide-Arm update for this mod where there's a dialogue option to talk her out of her bear-victimising ways instead of giving her 10 pelts - perhaps there's a line in her voice type that could be used to have her respond.
Or it could change the name of the bear pelt item to fake bear pelt and have a bear NPC that sells them for just such emergencies. Questionable for immersive purposes, but I don't like bear mistreatment.
I like playing a Nord character with a deep connection to the wild, a daugter of bear so to speak. a stormcloak and secretly werebear from time to time. this is just perfect. thank you.
Wow, I salute this idea! As a dude who wandered the mountains for years and actually met bears, this is way more immersive. A bear wouldn't attack unless you want to steal his food (and even then might actually run) or she has cubs (in which case you are absolutely fucked).
