Don't know if anyone is still reading these posts, just wanted to add my two cents.
This mod is absolutely amazing. It is a great, realistic, non-skimpy female version of Dwarven armor that also doesn't take away from the overall look, like making the pauldrons too small.
For anyone who wants to make the other pieces match, use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77813 just make sure to rename the files properly and pop them in the appropriate folder.
Again, great work. I use Dwarven armor almost exclusively as I think it is the BEST looking armor and weapon set in the game, and your female mesh is, in my not so humble opinion, the best on the Nexus.
(EDIT): Apparently the mod I linked is also from OP. Reading comprehension -10. Works anyway. I'm going to download your weapons retex too. Absolutely amazing work, once again.
u shoud do this with the rest of the armors cause ive been trying to find something to make my armors shiny for like a year but havent found anything till now
There are also some shiny armors from SkyRealism - Shiny as well. I like some of the cubemaps from MTichenors mod. I have a somewhat shiny Orcish armor and weapons texture set I've worked on but haven't finished. I may work on it again after some of my current projects. You should definitely check out dragonslayer2k12s ebony armor.
are they replacers or just retextures? cause ive got mods that uh... alter female armors, and it would be a shame if your mods changed them back to norm
This mod is a mesh and texture replacer. If you have armor that is already set up for environment mapping, then you can simply use the textures from Immaculate Dwarven Armor HD. Since all but two mods on the Nexus use the male armor textures for female armor you should be alright in using it. Do make sure you back-up any files you're replacing and make sure the files are correctly named. I'll have an updated version of the male armor included with the Glorious Dwarven Arms and Armor mod I'm working on currently.
finally after 5 yrs, i can wear Dwarven armor for my female character now.... never liked skimpy ones. but all are Skimpy or too fat, since Caliente concentrated to bodyslide.
by default, how can i use amidianborn dwarven armor textures for your mesh?
I know! ..right. Unfortunately the meshes are set up to use the female textures and not the male ones that Amidianborn retextured. He was intending on retexturing the female Dwarven armor, but it seems it just never happened. I got tired of waiting and did it myself.Could I imitate his work with any success? Maybe,ya... but I won't.That was his vision of Dwarven, not mine; but we can always hope he returns with new gifts.
Glass armor could use a lot of love.A couple of years ago I tried to change it, but with my lack of knowledge wasn't very successful at the time. When I'm done with my current projects I'll take another stab at it.
I have been wanting to redo the dwarven stuff for over a year now but never got around to it because the armor is so screwed up. What you have here is really good the only thing you need now is bodyslide for CBBE and some others. Gonna try this out and see how it goes.
I don't really use bodyslide. I will create some body variants that match CBBE, UNP, 7B. Weight slider will go from almost flat to watermelon depending on the body type. If you have suggestions then let me know.
Had some time to play with this and I was wondering why the arms are short sleeve? The thigh pauldrons seem too long and the back seems too far forward like it doesn't stick out enough but that is just a minor thing. The thigh pauldrons look the worst when running.
There are some issues to be worked out for sure. The original mesh had short sleeves for whatever reason, but it's fine with me since the gauntlets from Nisetanakas mod have less issues with clipping. The lower half of the body is from the male armor and I'm currently unexperienced in weight painting armor.I'm working on it though and will try to have this adjusted when I have the larger breastplate edition finished.
The skin partition thingy in nifskope allows parts of a mesh to be hidden when something else is covering them so if you don't want clipping and want to change the sleeves later on it is possible to make a partition for the sleeves so they hide when gauntlets are worn but you have to do that in 3dsmax or similar.

Thxs for the texture, man.
