Hi guys! I don't want to spam the comment section with my replies to all your nice comment, so I just leave this general message (I hope you don't mind). I wanted to thank you all for nice words and your support for my (and in this case Gamwich) mods. I'm glad we were able to create something that can improve your experience with Skyrim.
The easiest way is to edit glow map textures. You can try different contrast and brightness. There is also the other way, if altering glow maps doesn't help, but I wouldn't recommend it, because it involves editing each mesh separately(and there are a lot of them ).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I use CACO and the mod adds potions. Or rather, changes certain potions to another color. Would it ever be possible to get a patch for this please? Thank you! And thank you both modders a second time for doing this great mod! :3
I wasn't planning to add CACO patch, because it would mean creating a plugin, and original Gamwich mod is just a retexture and I wanted to keep it that way. Maybe someday, when I have some free time and will, I will do that, but no promises.
Can some kind soul assist me? I'm sorry to be a pest, but if someone could take a moment to explain how to brighten the glow textures using the provided optional folder, I'd be extremely grateful... I'm kind of a noob when it comes to modding. Thank you in advance!
Just copy a "textures" folder from one of the folders and paste in your Data folder. If you, for example, want stronger glow, choose one from "stronger glow with restore" (which contains glow maps for all potions) or "stronger glow without restore" (which means glow maps for all potions but restore stamina, magicka and health potions).
Okay, that's a pretty solid explanation, thank you so much Daily Planet, you really do exquisite work. I'm gonna' try to follow your instruction, and hopefully, I don't break something.
Hey daily, sometimes the potions in my game look as intended, but sometimes they are VERY bright, then they change color and I can clearly see the bubbles inside! Is this a shader issue? This can't be intended behavior, it's inconsistent and seems to happen at random.. I've dropped potions in interiors and exteriors during day and night to try and find out when it happens. Sometimes when I find them they're bright, and when I drop them they're not bright anymore. Please help me clarify this?
Yes I am using default ENB, no particular preset, but I tweaked some of the settings my self. It seemed to only happen with health, mana and stamina potions, I don't recall seeing it with the fortify potions and poisons, but I will have to reconfirm. I will make screenshots once I see it again.
Well...I cannot speak for others...but for myself...I am perfectly happy with the way this mod is.
I have tried just about everything else out there for potions, poisons and bottles in general.
I still use Glass Refracting Wine Bottles by Skysan4298, but this is still my go-to mod for potions n poisons.
Thank you both for this incredible mod.
An extra special HUGE thank you to Gamwich for all the incredible Skyrim mods you have created, maintained and updated over the years. You have truly made a HUGE impact on the overall modded Skyrim for anyone smart enough to use your mods! I have been using almost all of them for many years now and have had zero issues.
