Version 5.0 removes all changes to the perk trees. That means compatibility patches are no longer needed. Feel free to use my mod in conjunction with just about any perk overhaul. But hey, the perks are not gone! They're now rolled into Dark Art tomes and placed in various tombs and dungeons. Their location can be found in the mod description. Already picked perks will still work.
Another major change: For long I felt curses are about altering and not illusions. Removing perks from trees made this easy to change. So... curses are moved to Alteration school instead of Illusion. Unfortunately this breaks existing leveled lists, although it's not that bad. Your Illusion spell vendors will still sell curses. Clean install or fresh game start fixes the annoying issue.
hi i have a question does this works with the Craftable Staves- Dragonborn Addon (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57718) mod? and if not how can i make them work, if it is any help the mod has 3 version but i'm using version 1 and what that does is to make normal staves craftable on any forge instead of just the staff enchanter on solstheim but it replaces the heart stones requirements for a filled grand soul gem and the need of having perks on the the enchanting tree (most specifically the "enchanter" perk ranks if i'm not mistaken) so if you know any way to make them work together (so that the changes in crafting requirements also apply to the shadow magic staves) please tell me any kind of help is appreciated.
I came across this mod when I was looking for a Necromancer build and so far I love the spells it provides. However, I'm encountering a strange glitch, which I am assuming is caused by this mod (I installed a couple of clothing mods at the same time). Almost all containers like barrels, sacks etc., no longer contain foodstuff (which I rely on) but instead hold only Embalming Tools! Has anybody else come across this? Is there any way I can check if it IS this mod causing the issue? Any help appreciated - or I might just starve, lol.
Hey, love the mod and all. But I can't use it without feeling like I'm cheating. I play legendary difficulty, but all the spells, even the novice ones are taking out even the most difficult opponents in mere seconds. It's way too overpowered. I've not seen that complaint once on here, so either there's a problem with my game, or these people are playing on easy mode and deluding themselves they're not. What can I do to fix this?
i find that putting perks in books and put them in tome is really silly as well as spell that only work at night, plus i had to update all 27 save files to wipe the "there is a mod missing when i uninstalled this mod.
I have given this my endorsement. Not sure if you're still updating this mod but will you consider updating Shadowform so it affects the character's hair as well?
The spells seems to not be compatible with Andromeda. Whenever I use sear which is a novice spell the apprentice stone which makes all novice spells cost zero magicka, sear seems to still use it up. I tried putting it above andromeda and still wouldn't work. Can anyone help?
EDIT: Nevermind, I think that choosing Dunmer which has a high enough Destruction level even at level 1 immediately upgraded the Sear spell and bump it out off of Novice level and that's why the Apprentice Stone doesn't work with it. Anyway I'm excited to try out all the spells here! Thanks!
