    Greetings dear Visitors and Users of Vivid Ender ENB

    How to Modify your Vivid Ender ENB Install to fit your needs
    If the brightness options arent enought for your taste you can easy modify it with the ENB GUI. Pause the game by opening the console with the "^" key. Press Shift+Enter (Or Shift+F10) to open up the ENB GUI. A rotating mousecurser shows up. Go to the shader Window and open up the enbeffect.fx Tab. Scroll down a bit and you will find the [LEVELS] Section with gamma and other values to play with. Those values change the overall Brightness. You can also tweak saturation values in the enbeffect.fx tab too.

    NIGHTVISION
    Vivid Ender ENB is compatible with all nightvision, thermovison, nighteye effects there are out there. Although, some of them need manual adjustments to be recognised by enb. For that case you have the sensitivity slider in the advanced nightvision tab in the enbeffect.fx shader window. If you find yourself in the situation that enb wont recognise it, lower it very slowly till it Kicks in.

    Incompatibilities and usual Problems

    Ghosting / duplication effects wehile mooving:
    Is caused by Temporal Antialiasing - disable the temporal Antialiasing option in the enblocal.ini

    Garbadge textures:
    Check that you set your texture quality in the launcher atleast to "high". Also have a look if all skyrimprefs.ini Settings are correct - there are known Issues with iMultiSample=1 and broken / missing textures.

    Troublemaker mods that should not be installed:
    - Climates of tamriel Warmer and colder Interiors
    - ELFX Weathers
    - RLO Weathers
    - Remove interior Fog
    - Imaginator
    - DYNAVISION
    - (reportet only once) ETaC - Inn plugin (install without Inn's)
    - Hialgo - PLEASE UNINSATLL! Do yourself a favor
    - EVGA Precision X tray monitoring program - Disable!
    - MSI afterburner when monitoring is enabled - Disable!
    - Skyrim Winter Overaul - Changes sunset end sunrise times. Load vividian patches always after this mod!
    - DYNDOLOD Window Light LOD. Please do not use this option.
    - LITTLE THINGS - ATMOSPHERE (changes skymesh)

    Also there are cases where darkness has been stuck into the savegame by a mod that has been uninstalled ages ago.

    Another reason for too dark Interiors is sometimes, that the weather system hiccups as soon one enters a door. Then it disables all light sources and it will take a bit till they fade in as the weather is changing. That seldom happens but happens. Just wait 1-2 minutes and see if the Light comes back.

    Please also make SURE you have all ini changes applyd to your skyrimprefs.ini (MO users need to change that in the MO profile)
    [Display]
    bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
    bTreesReceiveShadows=1
    bDrawLandShadows=1
    bShadowsOnGrass=1
    bDeferredShadows=1
    fGamma=1.0000
    iMultiSample=0 // turns off the game's multi-sampling AA
    bTransparencyMultisampling=0 // turns off transparency AA
    [Imagespace]
    bDoDepthOfField=1
    Also disable Antialiasing and Anisoptric Filtering in your Skyrim prefs that are accessible via the launcher.

    I can't for the life of me get this ENB to work. First I can't see anything so I disable one tweak and then there is this weird fog like thing on the bottom half of the screen, i jump and it stays on the bottom half of the screen so it isn't "inworld" (not sure how else to desribe it) and I get an error to set bFloatPointRenderTarget=1. When I set that, I can't see anything again. If I use the optional ini files included with this ENB then it breaks my game even more not showing the main menu background and crashing when clicking new or continue.

    I've never had this much trouble with an ENB before I have no idea why it isn't working for me.

      Edit: Just noticed this was like a year old, lol. My bad. Anyway for anyone having problems with the new Endral version\DLC, this applies and is how you get it to work:

      In the EnderalPrefs.ini ensure these values:
      [Display]
      bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
      bTreesReceiveShadows=1
      bDrawLandShadows=1
      bShadowsOnGrass=1
      bDeferredShadows=1
      fGamma=1.0000
      iMultiSample=0
      TransparencyMultisampling=0
      iRadialBlurLevel=1
      iBlurDeferredShadowMask=3

      Next in the enblocal.ini:
      [PROXY]
      EnableProxyLibrary=false
      InitProxyFunctions=true
      ProxyLibrary=other_d3d9.dll

      [GLOBAL]
      UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false

      Also change values under [input] to desired keys to access the editor etc.

      NB! DO NOT replace enblocal.ini with anything, maintain Endrals enblocal.ini, and only make the changes I wrote here.

      If you disable the enb using shift/f12 before opening the map, it should work. You also can combine the two key bindings for map and enb disabling In the enblocal.ini. Search for the list of input keys in the internet (every button on your keyboard has a coded number key) and use the key for your map command (m?) in the enblocal.ini to able/disable the enb instead of the default shift/f12.

    When installing the enb are you modifying the enderals directory or skyrims? Enderal has its own directory like skyrim now so which one do i place all the files in? Endeeral also has its own ini file, am i adjusting this one or skyrims?

      The sticky post is from 2016, so it isn‘t actual. Enderal in its first version used the same name of the ini files like Skyrim, but in different folders, which was hazardous! The newest Enderal Steam version has enderal.ini and enderalPrefs.ini and these are the files you have to edit of course. Please do not mess with your Skyrim.inis, they have nothing to do with Enderal! The enblocal.ini for your Enboost or ENB preset is located in Enderal‘s main folder.

    Thank you so much for this great ENB, enjoying Enderal even more now!

    Somehow Depth of Field did not work for me. I copied over the depthoffield.fx and the other DoF file from Rudy ENB - Weaker ENB Folder and now it's working.

    Is Vivid Ender ENB not meant to be played with DoF?

    Edit: I disabled bloom in enbseries.ini that's why

      Make sure your anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing are off and also make sure bloom is enabled in the pop up menu.
      Disabling the latter two is a given but for what ever reason just turning on bloom fixed the whiteness for me.

      I've got the first 2 and the enb effects like dof are working, but how do I turn on the bloom, the enb menu doesn't come up with either shift + enter or shift + f10

    The reason why ENBs are all broken on Forgotten Story cuz the game no longer compatible with ENBcore properly.
    Exterior are now counts as interior, thus if the preset have extreme variation between these two sets of values -
    you will either get extremely dark visual or extremely bright visual.

    SureAI says they changed nothing to the game; if that's the case then it's possibly ENB core system isn't workign well with this seperated game version.

    I could not get this to work in the Steam version, even using all the current info (found elsewhere) on how to get it to do so. In fact, weirdly, once it was installed, when I would launch Enderal, my Skyrim game loaded instead of Enderal. I can't figure that one out at all. Too bad, I really wanted to use this because the other ENB's I've investigated make Enderal way too dark for my tastes. Hopefully, Vivid Ender gets updated to work with the Steam version one of these days.

      It is working well for the Steam version.

      IMPORTANT: Do not use the downloaded Enbhost.exe and .dll !
      (Enderal already comes with actual enb who is special for enderal.)

      Make all other steps and settings in the .ini`s and make sure you edit the keybindings to get the default ones:
      [INPUT]
      //shift
      KeyCombination=16
      //f12
      KeyUseEffect=123
      //home
      KeyFPSLimit=36
      //num / 106
      KeyShowFPS=106
      //print screen
      KeyScreenshot=44
      //enter
      KeyEditor=13
      //f4
      KeyFreeVRAM=115
      KeyBruteForce=0
      KeyDepthOfField=0

      PS: Set in enblocal.ini UseDefferedRendering=true if you want to edit the enb ingame with reflections, ssao etc.

      Thanks for the info! I've been using ENB's in various games since F3 and NV, but never had such a problem getting one to work. I've got your info copied onto a notepad and will maybe give Vivid Ender another whirl soon, but right now I'm pretty pleased with the Caffeine ENB and Revolution set up I've got going in Enderal.

      I know this was asked a while ago, but try an earlier version of ENB. Latest version does this with some presets.

    hey mangaclub, any chance you update this for enderal: forgotten stories?
    out of all ENB yours is still the best imho. because it looks like enderal, but better. it doesnt change the original flair and atmosphere of enderal like other ENB do.
    and its decent performance wise too.

    but its currently broken. 100% crash when opening the map, and probably wont work with the new DLC areas and weather changea(?)

    Hey I was wondering if you plan on updating this ENB. It doesn't appear to work on the steam release of Enderal. I think they changed the weather system? I am not sure if I can even get it to activate as Shift+f12/enter doesn't work no matter what I do to the enblocal settings and despite it saying the enb stuff in the corner on boot.

    I'd really like to use it as it seems that you've done good work. I'll make sure to drop an endorsement if you do, or if you can figure out where I went wrong in it's installation. Thanks in advance.

      Replace enblocal.ini that comes with enderal with the official ENB. This fixed it for me.

      Edit: Spoke way to soon, that just break Enderal completely, lol...

      Edit2: Ok found the fix UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false".

      You also have to change the keys back of course(as they're set to 0).
