On the subject of CTD: For some reason this mod cuts Whiterun's cell and worldspace data size which will inevitably cause your game to crash on save after you've progressed far enough. The solution to this is to remove all Cell and Worldspace entries in this mod through TES5Edit. Haven't experienced a crash since.

I am sorry but I dont know cause of this. The game will not crashing if you connect only one version of *.esp files and if you have HDT-system. Maybe you have conflict with other plugins or you use Skirym SE?
I had a CTD on save when using this mod, but I solved it opening the mod with TESVEdit and removing the worldspace 1A26F and cell 1A280 (that cell doesn't have formID). That cell and worldspace are leftovers or are used by the mod?
