Realistic Animation Project - Idles is the first step in my journey to evolve as many animations in Skyrim as possible.
R.A.P - Idles currently offers you 16 idles and around 18 minutes of animation to choose from.
But why you ask? Well, these aren't your standard idles, they are much longer and have a lot more detail.

Realistic Animation Project - Idles is the first step in my journey to evolve as many animations in Skyrim as possible.
Have you ever felt like the animations in Skyrim feel a bit stiff, generic or just plain old and rusty? And the feeling of freshness after installing new animations and replacers? I certainly have. That's why I wanted to start making my own animations, to keep this feeling for as long as possible. Last year I started with Magiska - Spell Casting Animations. I think I have learned a few more things since then and now I am ready for the next step. In my opinion animation is a very powerful tool, it's what makes any game feel alive, believable or real. Games like Witcher 3 are a great example of this. Unfortunately Skyrim's animation system is quite outdated at this point, but that doesn't mean we can't try and make the best of it. ;)
R.A.P - Idles currently offers you 16 idles and around 18 minutes of animation to choose from. But why you ask? Well, these aren't your standard idles, they are much longer and have a lot more detail than other idles. For comparison the vanilla idles have around 200 frames (about 7-8 seconds) and then they loop and start over. These new idles have anywhere between 1200 and 3000 frames each (40seconds to 2 minutes), allowing for more detail and more unique, less repetitive movement. In total there are over 30000 frames of unique animation.
Watch the video above to see which Idle fits your character the best. If you don't know which one you should choose for NPCs, I recommend Idle 1 for female NPCs and Idle 11 for male NPCs.
Requirements: - Skyrim, yo yo - FNIS + PCEA2 (optional), if you want a unique idle for your player character and/or Play Random Idle (optional), if you want idles to play randomly for your character - Your soul (mandatory)
Installation: Run the installer from NMM or MO - don't forget to run FNIS for Users, if you chose to install an idle for PCEA2 or 'Play Random Idle'
Uninstallation: Remove previously installed files - run FNIS for Users again, if you uninstall a PCEA2 animation
Known Issues: None, placeholder
