I read the instructions but still must be missing something. I went to the Ashfallow Citadel, there was a dead assassin that I didn't realize was dead at first because he was standing up. He had a writ on him for Modyn Veleth, I was unclear if I should take it or not. There was also a guard that I took out, he had a key that I took and went assassin, everyone was friedndly I could also ask some of them to come with me. I could take most thing without stealing including armor but Grandmaster Vendil Severin won't speak to me. The only mod that includes the same NPCs that I can think of is one that will let you have Rolff Stone-fist arrested and kept in jail. It was installed on a new file and I'm just not sure what I missed. I had Inigo with me, should I leave him behind? Should I taken the writ, I haven't seen Modyn Veleth but I assume that he is at that farm. I haven't started Dragonborn only wandering around Solstheim doing other things, annoyed Neloth and other pastimes.
Don't worry ! It's supposed to be like that. It's more realistic and I cant script You will still get your rewards and gold, but you HAVE to read the "Important Note"s before starting any contracts !
I can't seem to find these important notes, any advice on where I should look for them? I managed to find one of my targets and assassinate him. However now I'm a bit confused about how I'm supposed to get my reward.
Also, I will give you my opinion on the mod once I've actually been able to play it. But I've got to say I love the idea of a lore friendly Morag Tong in Skyrim.
-The important notes can be found in the chests where you get your writs. They aren't so important though, they only tell you not to open the other chests and strongboxes until you've finished the contracts from the first chests and strongboxes.
-The rewards can be found on the Targets. There are a few exeptions like the 6 reavers or general Falx Carius.
-Just read the writ and kill your targets. AND READ THE DAMN DESCRIPTION ALREADY !
Good. I liked the idea of the Morag Tong when I played MW years ago. IIRC, Morag Tong were part of House Hlallu and were viewed as a 'noble' faction with the execution writs legitimising 'necessary' assassinations.
I lost interest in both Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood when I realised that they were nothing like the MW factions. DB was a Dunmer faction, undertaking political executions. Same with Theives Guild, they were just thieves. They seemed to have blurred elements from both both factions into hired thugs and murderers.
I haven't looked at your quests yet, but I'm hoping that your executions are supported by some strategy and not just random targets.
You will not be told the reason why you kill those targets...well...not directly, but if you use your mind, youll get it. Some targets are random people you never heard about, but most of them are "Great House Wars" contracts. You will basically put the Redoran to its knees. After that, you will get rid of some good old enemies from Skyrim, for no APARENT reason. But just as I said, use your mind !
There's even a quest for the Dark Brotherhood, which has you kill all the Morag Tong Members of the Guildhall.
I even plan on doing 3 new interesting quests. One for the DB, two for the MT.
By the way, as much as i hate ( love ) to be a smartass, i have to correct you.
The Morag Tong were not part of house Hlaalu. They were sent by leaders of all Great Houses in order to assassinate members of other Houses. Their "job" was to do the dirty work for the Great Houses, so that they wouldn't start a big war against each other.
Hmmm, the Morag Tong offer or Commander Maro's 3,000 septims...hard choice. Not! Either way the Dark Brotherhood must be destroyed. This way sounds more enjoyable. Off for a bug hunt. Thanks and Cheers.
Glad you like it ! At first I didn't want to make this mod, because I thought people would enjoy Maro's quest more But leaving the jokes behind. Again. Glad you like it !
Thank you ! And I'm really glad it worked ! I've tested it over 10 times, but I was still waiting for someone to "verify" it. Could you maybe message me and tell me more about those small bugs you've encountered ?
Looks interesting so far. I'll wait for the update to download, though. :p I've always loved the Morag Tong and the Brotherhood equally. :D Love me some assassins! It's nice to see the Morag Tong getting some attention. Out of curiosity, though, would there ever be an option to double-cross whatever organization you're currently in to join the other? Or maybe a way to double dip before you're forced to decide? On another note, getting the key to a MT guildhall from a DB agent sounds extremely odd. I'd suggest maybe working it into the Served Cold quest (a note after you start it, possibly, offering you an alternative route) or maybe just something tucked away near the shrine to Mephala in Raven Rock (with vague directions and a hard-to-find entrance, expert or master level locked). They're just suggestions, though. Do as you will and happy modding. :)
Will this not work if I have already started the Dark Brotherhood quest line? I tried adding the mod using my saved game but I have yet to be accosted by anyone from the Dark Brotherhood after an hour or so of clock time playing.
1-Once you start the quest "Inocence Lost" you wont be able to start the Morag Tong questline
2-First playing the Morag Tong and then the Dark Brotherhood is not lore friendly, so please dont f*#@ up the lore. Besides, youll have to kill the DB at the end of the Morag Tong questline. Oups, spoiler alert
Bad idea the curent version is pretty bad. I recommend you wait a week or two until the final update is coming ! It will add 20+ quests, new models, new sets of armor and scripted quests !
Glad you like it ! But i recommend you dont download it just yet...a giant update whit many new quests is coming in a few weeks ! It will require a new game if you used the old version aka the current version...

It's didn't see any reference to it, so probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

It might be about 13 years since I did the Morag Tong questline.
Not to be confused with Brian Hlaalu. Or Roxy Hllalu.
Thanks, I'll check it out.
But leaving the jokes behind. Again. Glad you like it !
If anything, look interesting even if vanilla compatibility is quite a must have.
-Break them and make the Mod run smoothly
-Keep them and risk the Mod to be unplayable if the player does the wrong mission
About the Hrodulf Radiant quests :
-fix in progress
About the Katariah Doors :
-It's not such a huge problem. Can't fix it anyways. Besides, the doors still work just fine !
