SSBT has been updated for SSE. The billboards here are meant to work with Skyrim Classic, and are NOT intended for use in SSE. I have not tried them out in SSE myself at this time. Anyone is free to try these billboards out if generating your own lods in SSE if you wish of course, but no promises in terms of output.
This mod reworked only SBT Pine trees? Aspen trees are not included? I mean, can I override my existing LOD file and re-generate the LOD to keep the previous Aspen but get your Pines? Many Thanks
The author forgot to include a requirement for a mod like DyndoLOD or something similiar. Remember that these are billboards that you use to generate your own LODs. The mod does not include a premade tree atlas. If you want the trees to show up in the game you HAVE to generate them yourself.
Although this mod requires you to generate them yourself, this other mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60710/? is a NMM and MO ready mod that allows you to enable the mod and the tree LOD's match SSBT mod perfectly without requiring you to do anything else.
The other mod is considered somewhat obsolote as zilav (the mod author) states himself in the description. While the mod will work as intended, this mod is much more compatible with other mods that add trees, and doesn't require that much extra work to set up. If you're having troubles generating your LODs just watch one of Gamerpoets informative How-To tutorials on installing DyndoLOD/TES5LodGen.

Using pre-made LODs is obsolete since over a year and is never matching a load order other than Legendary at best. "Billboards" are downloaded by modders who can generate tree LOD which takes a couple minutes with easy to setup and easy to use tools like TES55LODGen/DynDOLOD.
The linked mod is not only obsolete, it only contains pre-made tree LOD (by TES5LODGen for that matter) for Tamriel worldspace which probably does not work correctly with DLC modifying Tamriel worldspace and for sure not with any other mods. It uses some very bad tree LOD textures. The link is a disservice to modders.
@yausd - Yeah, just a touch much on the whole "disservice" thing. This isn't a disservice if someone is using TESLODGen instead of DynDoLOD, you can build any dynamic tree atlas personally or add them for the people that do not want the work of generating their own billboards and LODs. You can use some resources from both Dyn and TESLODGen if you want. Letting Dyn handle the trees and TES to handle the roads, whatever choice actually. This is simply an option.

I have seen 3 different LOD generations by DynDoLOD using alternate SFO Lods, the Vanilla LODs and TESLODGen files. It worked ok with no problems each time. Dyn is an adaptable tool the only thing we really don't see posted are Tree Atlas' which I admit would be nice.
Have you created billboards and LODs with TESLODGen at all? Are they really compatible with Dyn? Just wanted to ask, forgot to and wanted to find out about the self created tree atlas.
Kain, you only need one or the other. I use DyndoLOD because it covers more options than LODGEN and is being constantly updated. Like I suggested earlier. A key difference between LODGEN and DyndoLOD is that DyndoLOD makes the animated distant waterfalls and windmills mod obsolete. I can pretest that http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60710/? does indeed work without having to do it yourself - works well and just did a reinstall/newly modded game 2 days ago
I used these and Skysight SBT, plus DynDoLOD. I am hoping the area near Whiterun will look nice because I used LODs for this, Vanilla, Dyn's alternate LODs, SFO LODs and last but not least LODs for Whiterun with trees. I'm hoping it looks ok, I might need to create a LOD with TESLODGen. Do you have any advice on creating this or patching it somehow to work with Dyn should it not work?
I understand DynDoLOD just not TESLODGen which I hear can create LODS for Dyn specifically. Any ideas? I'm still sorting out 254 plugins, patches and texture packs completely rebuilding a new Skyrim play through. Using Legacy, the DEVA airship, forested Whiterun, the Whiterun tundra forest, Dyn, this and Skysight and the SFO LODs. So I guess I'll see soon what soupy mess I come up with!

Edit: I am also using SFO - No Grass Edition too. I LOVE SFO and with Tundra ENB it looked SPECTACULAR but oh boy the load times.
