    This mod has been uploaded by "The Care Taker". This account is run by Nexus Mods’ Community Development Lead, TerrorFox1234, for the purpose of hosting mods created by authors who are no longer active within the community. I have kept the mod description as it was in its last state, except for the removal of dead links and some minor spelling fixes when needed.

    Awesome mod. One problem though, I'm trying to use your banners in a mod I'm making but they won't appear in the game. What I have been doing is opening my .esp file as the active file and your mod as a plugin and put the banners in where they should be. It looks good in the CK but they aren't there when I load the game. When I exit the game and reopen the CK, they're gone. I saved the esp after I put them in but they don't get saved in the file even though I saved it. How do I make them stay?

    Thanks so much for this, those banners were starting to bug me. I did notice one that you forgot, and that is the dwemer banner found all throughout the dwemer ruins.

    Have you thought about porting this to SSE? I ran the nifs through SSE Nif Optimizer, re-saved the esp in the new CK, and it works just fine.

    Is there any way of tweaking your mod to this to banners used as a decoration of a player's house? replacing nifs by hand will not do it since it will affect all the banners and not just the ones in the house...

      Hmm.. You could do this in one of two ways, make all banners non-waving (replace vanilla meshes with meshes from this mod) or open up the player home in CK and replace the meshes in question with mine.

      Or you could use player.placeatme to place a banner from this mod, then move it with Jaxonz Positioner

    I'm currently working on a large-sized project to remodel all of the interiors of the palaces and castles in 5 major holds in Skyrim, and I'd love to implement your hard work with these static banners. My personal thanks for making what I needed for my own project, and generously sharing them as a free resource!

      Glad you can make some use of them.
      Just be aware that currently users of ELFX enhancer are having issues with the meshes used in this mod. I'm seeking a fix and hopefully will figure it out soon. So you may want to keep your eye out for those updated meshes so users of your mod(s) don't have the same problem.

    I disagree with that logic. An enormous old hall at the top of a hill in the middle of the plains; I'd be more surprised if it wasn't drafty. And it takes far less wind to move a piece of cloth than it takes to blow out a candle. But to each his own.

      In Dragon's Reach I could understand there might be a bit of a draft. But the smaller homes and other places, I know doubt it a bit.

      Why should there be wind in Dragonsreach ? I don't see an open window.

      There are some windows. If you look in the top corners of the ceilings. There are round open windows.

      I could understand why in Dragon's Reach there might be a little wind. Cool air from the round windows mixes with warm air form the fires causing the air to move. I said might, however. My logic says otherwise. Either way it's very easy to remove cells from this mod if people don't like the effect in certain places

    I love this! If you don't mind, I'd love to use some of these meshes...I usually don't put banners in any of my house mods because I hate the way they flap around.
