    Currently(6/26/2016), the last screenshot is inaccurate to the files in the download section, since the bodies there are represented by skulls. I plan to shift all versions to the coffin representation soon.

    EDIT:
    New versions uploaded, coffins are now the stand-ins for the bodies.

    Also, I noticed an issue where npcs will try to be nice and hand you back things that you've dropped, which included the bodies. This would then break the misc item that represents the body, and you would lose that body.

    I fixed that by adding a condition that they'll only do so if the item can be sold, they won't pick up worthless items for you. Thanks to Ishara for the solution there.

      Thank you very much for this great mod, i have been waiting this kind of mod for a long time
      I support the idea of adding preservation item to make corpse permanent. Please update this mod
      I also have little problem, i have installed Paradise Hall, Dread Prison, slaverun, sexlab defeat , n your collect bodies. I installed them all around the same time. Recently i enconter some bandit , guard, forsworn NAKED, not all but sometimes. They still have their weapon, but not have clothes in their inventory. From what I know non unique NPC always recycling dead body to be respawned. So do mod like collect bodies affecting respawned NPC because I stored them naked, then they respawned naked?
      Oh yeah have you seen YouTube video about someone collecting decapitated head n use it as decoration or throphy in his house, do you have any idea how it done?

      Thanks for the support, I plan on uploading the preservation mod this Friday.

      That naked thing definitely isn't caused by this mod, when a new npc is spawned it draws from a preset list of what it can be wearing, it doesn't reuse the actual NPCs themselves.
      It would have to be one of your other mods, a sexlab one perhaps?

      I don't think I've seen a mod that lets you collect heads, that seems cool.

    I am from Ukraine, I do not understand English well. Therefore, I apologize for the mistakes.

    Thereis one problem.
    When I restart the game, the names of all picked up corpses are reset to "Collected Corpse". Dropping the corpse from inventory and re-lifting solves the problem. But after restarting, the problem reappears.

    Hi! Had a couple questions.

    Only corpses stored as an item count to the limit, yes? So to subtract from the limit just drop a body in the world?
    Does anyone know if generic corpses are fine? Like a bandit or spriggan. Will it be changed/reset at any point?

      Exactly, yes.

      Generic corpses should be safe.
      They should actually be safer than named ones, just in case the named npc is respawned due to bandit camps or something.
      That scenario SHOULDN'T happen but Skyrim can be weird.

    No problems for me... does what I want it to, take a body out of a cell and put it somewhere else to bury it and have a tombstone... perfect

    Picked up a body and placed it about an in-game week later. Nothing happened. Works right after I pick it up though. Are you sure the bodies aren't despawning from wherever they're stored?

      That is exactly my tought, they are being placed in a cell were they can despawn.

      Previously they could because I didn't understand how the game flagged something to be persistent. Now however, I do. They shouldn't despawn anymore after any length of time, but if the game itself tries to recreate the npc, like respawning a bandit cap for a misc quest, things might get wonky.

    I've had this mod for so long, played with it on a bunch of playthroughs... HOWEVER theres this weird thing that happens on all of those playthroughs..

    What I'm doing is that i am collecting all powerful UNIQUE named NPCs on my game, like "Arch-Curate Vyrthr" "The Caller" "Ebony Warrior" etc....
    .
    Then this always happens
    ---ALL corpses i collected are somehow spawning on a GIANTS/MAMMOTH camp on random... like when i have my "DETECT DEAD" on and suddenly i see a bunch of dead bodies on a huge rock near a GIANTS/MAMMOTH camp, then i look at them, they seem familiar, turns out its all of those dead bodies that are currently stored on a container in my house LMAO
    like why are this corpses here? then i go back at my house container to check all my collected corpses and they are all still there on my container.. and i can use/resurrect them without problems.. dunno why all those corpses(copies?) are somehow spawning on that particular ROCK though?

      i came back after so long lol
      anyways this issue i had is most likely related to the container mod i was using to store the bodies.
      That container allows me to summon it anytime anywhere so i wont have to encumber myself carrying the bodies i stored on it.

      completely unrelated to this awesome mod. thank you!

      Hypothetically it could be because there's no actual room(ie walls etc) to contain the bodies in my mod, I just have them floating in space in a cell. Still, haven't heard of it happening before you lol

      Hope 100 bodies is enough :)
