I’ve got all four of your small exterior player home mods and absolutely love them. <3 They fit seamlessly into the game world and look like they should have been there all along. I like that each of them might have a couple of ‘perks’ like a shrine or crafting station but none of them have all the stations, making them seem realistic and not overpowered. I especially love the activators and the see-through windows. The loft style bed creates a cozy winter lodge type feel which is perfect for the snowy region of Windhelm. <3 Thank you for these wonderful player home mods. They will remain in my permanent load order for my characters. Endorsed!
sad, perhaps one day it will? I also seen some house mods with no load doors that have like a covering over the house area that simple makes it so that rain doesn't go inside.
The rain/snow in original Skyrim isn't actual physical particles, it's just a full-screen effect, which requires a script to make it look like it's not raining while you're inside (like Real Shelter does). Sadly, I don't know enough scripting to be able to make this compatible with True Storms. Skyrim Special Edition has built-in rain occlusion though, so I'll be making all of my new mods there.
You know I have several of your house mods actually, I like them all, I uninstalled the whiterun apartment because I think I had conflict with my other mod, immersive citizen's jk whiterun. I kept crashing randomly whenever I entered the bannered mare, or inside whiterun. Would those two mods happen to cause conflict like that?
Yeah, the Whiterun apartment is almost certainly not compatible with Immersive Citizens. That was my first and last house inside a city, because it conflicted with sooo many things.
I'm pretty sure it'll blow over, also I think I was also using a save that still had it installed, but as long as it's not a constant problem I guess. Thanks for your responses. I'm going to endorse you.
Did you install manually, or with NMM/MO? Did you activate the esp? Are you looking for the house in the right spot? I know I didn't upload an empty file, and no one else is missing the house, so it has to be something on your end.
Cynndal you're officially my favourite player home modder. (Top 2 you and Elianora) Exterior homes have a special place in my heart, right next to a polished taste for design.
Love this home as well. Do you think you could upload a version with the cabin relocated to a slightly more secluded area? Not horribly far from civilization but not next-door to the public stables (Was hoping to use this home for my vampire playthrough)
I will try to squeeze that in...no promises though- my schedule has been crazy lately!
I am in the middle of building another cabin that will be farther from town though...not sure exactly where I'm going to put it yet - probably in the Rift.
HAHA this was an awesome experience... coming up to the house and opening the door and it being pitch black inside, stumbling around figuring out where to activate the candles.
The loft being a different cell with the ladder! BUT when you go up and light the candle and come back down to the main floor the light is still on up there!
Guess what? Another masterpiece; the architecture is amazing, cosy and interactive. The textures work perfectly, and suit the home perfectly. Astonishing, absolutely amazing. I wouldn't have a better located home other than next to the warm, luxury Windhelm. Great job - as always - Cynndal. Thanks for posting.
Hi, just wanted to leave a bit of feedback after having wandered about the house a bit. I'm not sure if you intend to do any modifications / updates, but just in case. And to clarify this is only my observations.
First, the lighting cups are a bit glaring. I don't personally use lighting mods so for me it's the vanilla lighting and it's very stark. Also, after looking at your pictures it may be more aesthetic to revert to the lighting as shown in your images. But that's just personal taste.
Next for those of us that don't use ENB's etc. - Windhelm is a rather dull-ish grey location, and the clutter items in the house don't stand out as beautifully as the Cliffside or Riften shack. So standing in the kitchen / dining area doesn't have that "cozy" warm feeling of your other mods.
Last, I always have a follower so the layout of the room is very awkwardly tight and I have to put my follower by the fireplace. I know for some folks this might be an issue.
I really love the location you picked. The house sits very nicely, and if you ever revise this..I'd love to see your updates.
I actually am going to be updating this...I'm not at all happy with how the interior turned out. Even with my ENB, it's too dull looking, and I forgot to add my usual optional sleeping spot for followers. I've been trying to hurry up and get all of the tiny city houses done because I have an idea for a new bigger (Cliffside-sized) home, but I rushed this one a little too much. I should have an update out tonight, and hopefully have the Markarth house finished tomorrow.
You are AMAZING! Thank you so much for taking the time to read comments and respond. Your updates are always so welcome, and I'm sooooo...anxious to add all your other homes.

- completely remodeled the interior of the cabin (also added new screenshots)
- added an optional follower's bed
- adjusted the lighting to be less harsh
- added 5 weapon racks, one weapon plaque and one shield plaque
I'll add that info to the description.
