wow fantastic! thank u just wish there was a mod like the spice of life series that added these into the world rather than a complete replacer. i have the nilla walls looking good and like em. and u have 2 different version in this mod to choose from. and they're quite different. be awesome to have all 4 walls around (2 vanilla-plain & ivy...2 yours plain & ivy). alot less memory usage than say using all these ivy
For anyone interested, I have made a proper port for this Mod for Skyrim Special Edition and I have been using it for several months now. Maybe I am blind but I cannot see port-related permissions being specified anywhere. If anyone has information about this, let me know.
Hello! I have received many PMs asking for the port but I haven't been able to answer to anyone due to not being active. With proper port, I mean that the .esp has also been properly converted. NIF optimiser was used for the meshes while the textures just work out of the box. If you do not select all the optionals then no .esp file is required and you can just optimise the meshes and use them, if you want the optional changes (really beautiful imho) then you need the .esp that again, I have properly converted to work with Skyrim SE. Been over 200 hours with it installed on two different characters with very different mod lists and I never had a problem.
Hi. If I understand you correctly, you only pick the folders for the meshes (NewIvyMeshes, NewTerraceMeshes, and FarmWallMeshes) in nif optimizer, correct? But how do you optimize the .esp? In nif it doesnt even show up?
Just FYI to who uses the New Farm Wall plugin within the mod, the collision error has been fixed, it can help you get the right collision box before xenophobe3 fixes em! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34082/
Hey, is this still not working with SE? I chose SE in the installation but Vortex says its for a different game, and nif optimizer didn't change anything. I'm a super-noob when it comes to everything mods, so I might be doing something wrong?
WARNING: Don't use the wooden fence version of the mod.
As well as retexturing the fences, for whatever reason. It moves them and adds new ones, this creates many issues with mods such as Immersive Citizens AI.
It also seems to modify collisions boxes of wooden fences and I have encountered many moments were NPCs are walking through or standing inside of fences.
Hey, just to clarify a few things for you and other users:
- The new fence optional does NOT add new fences to new locations. Some sections of fence have been moved slightly as their sizing is slightly diff, but they have been checked against vanilla navmesh, and should be fine.
- my understanding is that ICAI changes navmesh, so of course there could be a conflict. I may create a patch if I find significant issues.
- regarding the collision, it's been documented, if you checked the bugs section. It's not game breaking in any way (though certainly immersion breaking to see an npc inside a fence). It will be fixed in the next version.
But will it crash the game? I would hate for this to crash my game half way through an SSE playthrough and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what mod it is... Especially because this mod uses an esp and its already known that oldrim esps dont work in SSE.
Please give us a proper conversion port. Thanks
Edit: The stonewall and terrace style walls seems to work and I figured if it was going to crash it would have crashed on load. I do not recommend using the fences until it is properly ported to SSE. But as of now the textures and meshes seem to work for the walls.
hey everyone, this mod is going to be ported over, but i'm working on a major up;date that's going to look even better, and replace more walls (all optional) but it won't be out for a while. Not worth spending my time to port the existing version due to this, hope you guys understand. It sounds like people have had success using the nif optimizer for SSE as an alternate means anyway.

No conversion or port required. Love this!!!

Also, is the esp really neccesary, or just the meshes/textures replacer will work? Sometimes the plugins just add optional features.
