Nice mod idea, mmm but dont you think creating corpses is more related to Necromancy, Conjuration or Alchemy?, Would you consider create more options, even Enchantment would work, but even great would be a custom device to create corpses something like a "Corpse craft table", but nice mod anyway
It is definitely a Necromancy thing. But I didn't want to clutter up the world with special tables or crafting benches, and I wouldn't be able to make a unique model, so I kept it simple.
i like simple definitely...but i think he means it might be better to craft the corpses at an alchemy or enchanting table, rather than forge. that does make sense to me
do these corpses disappear after awhile from deadbodycleanup script? if not then that would be great for your intended purpose as well as "decorating" your evil lair lol. also if they don't disappear than may i ask you to make a few animal carcasses like elk, wolf and horker? for ages i've been wanting to place some carcasses around my cabins or camps to simulate that the carcasses are being cleaned and dressed, for later smoking, drying or eating. and to show where skyrim gets all those pelts lol. i've tried this many times using Jaxonz Positioner to tack them up on a tree/wall but the carcasses always disappear after awhile could u make some animal corpses?
They don't disappear from any scripts, and they won't "respawn". I don't know if dead bodies despawn normally in skyrim, but I do know if you have too many of them in once place they will start vanishing.
https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1562213-jaxonz-positioner/page-184#entry23353194 Ha! Great minds. I had read that post by someone and had tried placing dead animals for hunting, but they allways go away. This mod weould be gut with dead animals to place thank you
Frankenstein, now all you need is a quest to raid the graveyard's of skyrim (fighting off guardian's to steal the precious fresh body part's - murdering random people would be too easy but of course you could have quests to trap specific people), a lonely spooky tumbledown castle on a mountain peak with a village of paranoid peasant's armed with pitchfork's and torch's, a half dead butler/manservant whom eat's bug's (moonlight's working for a vampire Lord/Lady that rent's the dungeon off you with a monthly income as the manservant is really a vampire's ghoul) and a quest to obtain the Necromancers amulet and a secret book about flesh Atronach's from the murderer of windhelm - skyrim's answer to the ripper so after the blood on the ice quest and then you have a making's of a great quest mod in the vein of Dungeon master, be prepared to unleash your own army of monster's.
Who need's to be a vampire or a werewolf when you can become a mad scientist/necromancer whom has harnessed the power of the element's to breath life into his creation's (laughs manically).
Good luck with this mod, even if it does not attract immediate attention I am pretty certain it shall in the long run garner quite a few followers or even other quest builders if you do not make one yourself.
Oh and use Clothe Dead NPC's to make this into a ghoulish manikin mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34955/?
Another idea, make a custom workbench just for this or a necromancers alter with lighting coming down onto it.

I'll look into making an animal version.
