Just wondering, is there any update on this? This is seriously one of my favorite mods from OG and would love to be able to use it in my SE playthroughs!
Could you include a better entrance for the 'day spring pass'? There's another mod out here which opens completely the way to Fort dawnguard. I want to be able to access fort dg with horse, but here my enthusiasm stops already. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30086
I think the entrance should be hidden away at least a bit and somehow protected to hinder common people and vampires alike to access fort dawnguard too directly.
My two suggestions are to 1. Remove the beach edits and only add foliage/rocks 2. Add the animals infront of the entrances to the db faction, that way they would be like the bandit trained animals in obis. Immersively guarding the entrance and warding off passersby
This is a good realism inspired mod, though I am a bit worried about the beach occlusion since I intend to use a lot of mods in my Skyrim playthrough. I would personally prefer a alternate version with just the foliage covering the entrance and the rocks not choking off the entire beach.
I use 255+ plugins (several merges) myself. I don't believe there are many mods at all which edit those regions, I use ETaC for example with no problems at all. If you're unsure about compatibility, all you have to do is load up this mod with any suspected incompatible ones in TES5Edit and check for incompatibilities.
I've got to ask, is there a known way to make this mod compatible with Holds? I'm specifically referring to the fact Holds encloses Dawnstar and Falkreath in worldspaces of their own.
I don't know that I'd want the entrances completely covered, the screenshots of the mod you linked makes it look like you enter right into the stones, which is bad for immersion if you ask me. To each his own!
You've saved me from having to learn how to mod so that I could move the entrance to the Dawnstar sanctuary someplace more sensible, like where the nearby troll lives. It always annoyed me that any silly little fisherman or child form Dawnstar could be walking down the beach and "oh wow! there's a creepy black door with a skull on it! I guess I'll never try to investigate it or report it to the authorities, I'll just occasionally mention it to random wanderers who ask for the latest gossip!" when the DB is supposed to be this stealthy band of badass assassins.
I have to admit I haven't even finished the DB questline so didn't know about the secret entrance, but since I'm working on an update right now I might as well add it!

- Updating from any version should just be a matter of replacing with the new file, I have made no changes that would conflict with previous versions.
- Sorry for the hassle from my renaming of the .esp:s, I won't do it again. Promise.
