This mod was made because jojozityjo asked if there were any mod like it. There wasn't so I decided to make one.

Thanks jojozityjo for the idea, testing, and the great screenshots above.

Nice idea, but I'm having an issue where rings transfer to the left hand and back and I can't equip the ones I want - one I've been wearing a while becomes not unequipable (moves to left then right then left then right) unless it is physically dropped on the floor.

First, make sure you aren't using a left-hand ring mod that already has the feature of this mod built in. I've given permission for this mod to be integrated into some of the left-hand ring mods and Immersive Jewelry has a equivalent system for swapping its rings too. If you have two mods both trying to provide this feature, then you could get the behavior you describe.

Just to be clear, if you're using the main version of the mod then you should be able to unequip using the same button you used to equip. (Using the other control on an equipped ring will swap it to the other hand like you describe though.) And if you're using the alternate version, then you should be able to unequip rings using the standard equip button for the right hand (left mouse button by default) and rings should only switch hand if you unequip them using the left hand equip button (right mouse button by default).

Thanks, that sounds like the likely explanation.

Please, port this mod to SSE! This is too good!

I gave someone permission to integrate this into a left-hand ring mod but didn't follow up to see if it actually happened. I don't have the time or interest to do it myself.

I wish there was a ring mod that allowed the user to wear 8 or 10 rings. We have ten fingers & most if not all can be used for ring jewellery in real life but in skyrim you can have...one.

So you can put a great enchantment on each ring and become invincible? Why not just use cheats.
btw there are mods that allow you to do that. Just search for Unlimited Rings.

In my mod, Immersive Jewelry, you can wear up to 5 rings, including the Ring of Matrimony which stays on the right ring finger. There are 1700 different rings in the mod. CDCooley, the maker of this mod made the script for it. I think 5 is about the most without becoming imbalanced with too many enchantments, but...

...The maker of the mod Dovahbling took that script and he did expand it into ten rings which can be worn on every finger, and you can see it actually on your character, unlike "Unlimited Rings". The drawback though is that it's only the rings from that mod, which is limited to about 20 rings.

So neat idea and realization. Bravo. While I do not use left hand rings for the sake of balance, can definitely use this for passive abilities, that do not affect balance (Lockpicking, for example. Or carry weight. Very convenient.). You can make any ring "Left" in one click with this mod, and turn it back again, so you don't need to buy special "left" rings.
    Thank you.

yep, i loved it, or buff rings like my charm ring for better prices lol
or you can use rings like the ring of matrimony, hircines ring, etc, and still have your ring you use to complete your enchanted set of stuff lol
