Hi there, Just want you to know that this is the best sneak animation I have ever download, this mod is even better than the R.A.P Project and P.C.A in my opinion. But the sneak turn animation is a little too ... idk... when you turn around in one place, the bow hand and the sword hand tend to go up and down too much, so every time when I turn and stop turning, the moving animation of the hand and shoulder make it looks very tiresome. So I would like to make a suggestion. If you can make the hand completely stay still during the turning animation would be extremely wonderful. I know modding take lots of work and efforts, but if you can make it happen, it would be amazing. Thanks for reading my comment.
hand animation with weapon while sneaking (turn) come from "weapon turn" files from others mods, not from "sneak" files, so, try to delete 1hm_turnleft60.hkx 1hm_turnleft180.hkx 1hm_turnright60.hkx 1hm_turnright180.hkx for 1-hand weapons (bow_turnleft60.hkx etc for bow) or try to find another turn animation.
vanilla use upper body in normal idle in sneak pose i said that before but just cant find another words to explain, then whymee comes with a better alternate solution. Thanks for clarifying that whymee
I agree. You have outright the very best animation modules on the Nexus for Oldrim. Thank you. I have yet to stop, take time and actually play SSE but I will soon. I can say TK Dodge is absolutely awesome but I do not use it on every play through.
I have played the game twice (out of the 6 additional times I played it using other animation mods or using vanilla animations) all the way playing the DLC included using this sneak animation replacer and TK Dodge and they make quite a potent combination indeed. The NotSoObvious version is a interesting take on sneaking but I believe one of the animations were misplaced, particularly the sneak walk(forward-left) is the wrong animation, it snaps from walking to a crouch-walk.
Thank you for this! Easily the best-looking sneak animation changer I've found on Skyrim Nexus. The vanilla animation always bothered me, so I'm psyched to try out this new one in game. So, in conclusion, this is awesome, thank you so much, and it's going to be endorsed. =)
hey man, this is cool, although, its kinda conflict a bit with Archery Gameplay Overhaul mod where in sneak position with bow & arrow equipped, the arrow in the right hand seem a bit off, like how should I say this, the arrow is floating around, not on right hand itself where it should hold the arrow. so yah, is there a quick fix for this? I can post picture of this conflict if ya want to see.
Easily the most natural looking sneak idle pose. The vanilla and ones from many mods look so painful that no random civilian or untrained wench can hold for more than 10 seconds
Hi, thank you for this mod, it is far better than the vanilla animation, but I have a request which I am hoping would be a REALLY easy one, but I have no modding experience so I have no idea how to do this myself.
Could you make an optional version of your mod, that uses the same animation for weapons drawn, attacking etc... as it does currently, but that uses the either the Vanilla or "No heavy muscular walk and idle" (Mod No: 213) that already exists for the weapons sheathed sneaking and idle sneaking? I just want to walk around caves quietly but without looking like I'm constantly on edge. Plus, this would look much more natural sneaking round towns etc... It's kind of obvious your up to no good when your doing a "cartoon sneak" through the streets.
If you could do this little thing it would be a great xmas present :p (P.S. if there is a way to achieve this by simply installing your mod and then copying/renaming some other available files please someone advise me what files to use and what files to replace with them)
Edit: Ok, after investigating the BSA file and looking at all the different animations involving walk/run etc... I have no idea which ones would need to be replaced or if indeed it is possible to separate the weapons drawn sneaking animations from the weapons sheathed animations... I may have been presumptuous to say it should be easy. Still, if anyone could make this happen it would be amazing still.
Vanilla use upper body in normal idle in sneak pose. for "not so obvious" drawing weapon maybe you can try replace it with unarmed (h2h_) OR magic (mag_) sheathe and unsheathe. Because magic and unarmed its the quicker or shorter drawing moves, unlike 1hm - reaching the hip or twohanded reaching to back. So change'rename prefix 1hm_xxx.hkx or 2hm_xxx.hkx to h2h_xxx.hkx or mag_xxx.hkx I dont really know how it would look in game, its only a suggestion. Sorry if it doesnt meet your expectation or i misunderstand your question.
Super mod Tho one slight 'bug' oddity thing. If you grab your bow in 3d person view and draw it, it repeats the draw animation infinitly and no arrow is visible. Not sure if it's on my end or a missing animation?
