Thank you for this mod. I've always hated the ash piles, especially when traveling with Serana. I also have a mod that supposedly removes her resurrect spell and replaces it with a summon gargoyle, but that one seems a little hit or miss, so having this one to prevent the ash piles entirely helps, as does preventing them from appearing elsewhere. I don't believe the part about Lightning Storm is needed if using the unofficial patch since that gets rid of the built-in disintegrate effect from that spell, but I went with this one in case another mod happens to undo that change.
Hi, I know this mod if for Oldrim, but it still works on SE. I was just wondering if you could make a patch for Better Master Spells? If you're interested, the link for that mod is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5962. Thank you.
I'm in the same boat. Author's been inactive since 2017... such a shame. I'm currently trying to figure this out for myself, just for lightning storm, not the reanimate spells. I hate that damn effect for lightning storm, it's so silly. Frozen Electrocuted Combustion does a much better job.
Will update if I do figure this out, but I'm not a modder yet so who knows if I will be able to.
My characters have rarely gotten proficient enough in Destruction to use lightning storm, but I'm enjoying this mod in current play-thru with conjurer/necromancer. No ash pile cleanup. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for this, was getting tired of that happening whenever someone raised a dead NPC and whenever they did their usual possessed-like "Thaaaaaaank yooooooouu..." they turned to dust.Really grateful for this, endorsed!
MY GOD SOMEONE FINALLY GETS IT! I never get the disintigrate spell because ash piles look bad everywhere, plus they can merge together, and it can be difficult to get the one you want. So when the freakin ultimate lightning spell does it ANYWAY, i'm forced to never use it just so I can actually loot enemies!

EDIT: The optional version is now up. Make sure you uninstall the previous version first though.
