That could change depending on which disk you put steam in and if you have two steam locations it could be SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins instead.
This certainly is surprising. Most mods of this variety, that supposedly fix this or that problem, never work. But this works. I mean, it actually, truly works! How amazing is that! I wish even half the "fix-it" mods on Nexus were as well designed as yours and that they actually accomplished what they are supposed to do. Excellent work. Endorsed (obviously). Thank you.
UPDATE: Been a while since I downloaded/implemented this mod. STILL WORKS PERFECTLY, even with a load order which now exceeds 200. So, I'm still thoroughly amazed at this. When I first tried out this mod, I had little hope that it would work, since most mods of this type rarely seem to work as advertised. But again, this mod is amazing. This author deserves some kind of a special award or something, as he managed to fix something that has been driving me (and I'd imagine a lot of others) up the wall from day one.
Have just recompiled source and built a version for Skyrim SE (SSE 1.5.39 and SKSE 2.0.7)
SKSE log shows that SKSE64 "liked it" but my game is still messed up from other mods needing updating. I'll test it out as soon as I can then post up an updated dropbox link. In the meantime, if you'd like to help me test it, I can private message you a link. Got a new job so I haven't had much time to do any personal PC stuff lately ;P
My PC died so I've been out of the loop for a while now. This is the link to the file. I returned to find that Meh had replied to my request to post this on a new SE page and he said no, I do not have permission. So I've moved on to other activities and this is the last time I will be updating this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/eowa1pbuth3kene/LipSynxFix64_for_SkyrimSE_ver1.5.39.zip?dl=0
i get this bug with only couple of mods wich has some action with the souds. Mods such us birds, sound fx and any audio overhaul. im told you Only couple of mods and you ll get this bug. So i try your recompiled plugin and it do nothing. Put on right plase and make all to work it on. but itsnt work. Thats my story.
Thanks for all the effort jeedge! It's unfortunate that meh321 won't allow for a 64 bit ported version of this mod based on his work. Hopefully he'll come around
Thank you! I'm replying here also to bump your post for others. I'm gonna try this. I already have "SSE Engine Fixes" but I still have the lip sync bug. I hope the 2 dlls won't conflict... let's see...
Edit: nope, didn't work at all. I tried with both dlls active and also by disabling the lip sync fix in SSE Engine Fixes, but no dice. The longer an NPC's line is, the more out of sync the lips get as they spell it.
Does this work for SE? I downloaded the SSE Enging Fix mod, which I thought worked, but now it doesnt... Is it because I have too many graphic/texture mods? The game runs smoothly otherwise...
It is an engine issue with the SSE engine. If you have too many NPCs for instance, it will cause the issue. I recommend going on TES5EDIT and disable or remove unnecessary NPCs as at least for me made the issue less frequent (although common in some areas) not sure regarding textures, I sent a message about it over at the SSE engine but no one has really responded.
