Can I use this mod with the Special Edition or will it cause problems without porting it first? Or would it be much work to port it to SE, I have no clue of creating/altering mods and would love to use this one on my SE. This mod sounds way better than the existing mods that just gives you the items at their strongest level.
why not just make it so when I get a leveled weapon that it automatically updates whenever I get to the next tier? Then I can use the weapon normally as if I were actually having a daedric artifact of unholy power, and not some level 6 piece of junk.

Yes the CCO remade is a great mod and has this implemented. I am using it as well. However I made this mod to make leveling already overpowered stuff a little more difficult.
Hey, love this idea and will defiantly download but was wondering what the maximum level for a leveled item is and how many levels the hammer in the mod increases the level by?
Hey, it's weird, I created the hammer and when I go to ebony I don't see the nightingale bow, only the blade.. why is that? Edit: it disappears after I upgrade it once..
crowned12, I'm not sure if you are talking about a Skyforge issue or an issue with Tempering. But I looked into both possibilities.
It looks like the Nightingale Blade and Nightingale Bow (and maybe some others, I haven't checked them all), don't have Keywords to define their Material Type (this is something Bethesda neglected to give them, which means the blade and bow shouldn't be showing up under Ebony or any other metal section). Check the Misc section at the Skyforge.
I did find one bug so far (but it's caused by Bethesda and not the mod author), and that's when you try and Temper the Nightingale Blade at Level 46 or higher, it reverts to the level 36 version and improves that one.
The mod author didn't fix Bethesda's bug, because I'm assuming he didn't know about it. I don't know if the mod author is going to make a patch or something for it.

The highly recommendable Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade has this feature, and can be set to automatic.
ahh, the feeling of too many games to get through, not enough time...
