Doesnt make copies of yourself, makes some random NPC. Also even if it ses it can make 5 it doesnt only 1. an this isnt even an illusion spell its conjuration. needs a lot of work
I like the concept behind this mod, I am trying a blademaster build from warcraft 3 and it was the closest i have found to mirror image, Is there any way to duplicate my equipment, up the HP but make damage 0?? I have a little experience in modding and can probably do it myself if i know what to look for.
Thanks
Graham
P.s, when the clones die they leave me a load of money. lol. very nice illusions.
Using the console, the Conjure Illusions and the Amulet of the illusionist were added to my player. When the Amulet of the Illusionist was equipped and the spell cast, only one player copy appeared. With the Amulet of the Illusionist equipped, the Perk - Illusions of Life - (or something like that) was added. After that, I was able to conjure 5 player copies. Also, equipping and unequipping the amulet seemed to work.
Also, can the Amulet or the spell book be bought or found somewhere? If so, where can they be picked up?
For anyone wondering what's the idea behind this mod. After seeing thelwafull's The Close Spell mod I asked if it would be possible to make a mod to summon more clones.
I always wanted to have a Mirror Image spell for my mage characters in Skyrim. Much like there was in Baldur's Gate. This was never intended to be offensive spell, it was supposed to confuse enemies and actually buy you time before enemies realize which one of you is a copy and which one is real.
Thanks for the mod, gonna try it out and will endorse of course
Oh, it's you again. I'm curious how you did this; did you use a custom script, a vanilla script, or both? Or does simply flagging the Player actor as Summonable and making a summon spell around that work well enough?
Or I can just download the thing and check it out in the Creation Kit. xD Perhaps later.
Oh, well then he could just add the appropriate Hit FX to the Magic Effect and it should work. *shrug* That is if the author will make a 'ghost' version of the spell.
How can you select the player character ID though in the Magic Effect? Is it scripted?
Thats your own opinion, Mine is that an illusion spell can torment and hurt opponents. Its more of a summon illusions of yourself kind of thing. They only have 50 health though so they die pretty easy. I do agree with you on this in a way however and will make an optional. Just have to use a combat style. either way it will levelup conjuration sadly since your summoning something.
While I'm certainly on board with the concept in general, you seem to be more describing a conjuration. particularly in the ES series an illusion is fooling the mind to believe something is there that isn't. It's why in previous games personality was the dominating stat for its progress. It's mind magic not anything tangible. I love the concept of this mod, but it's not an opinion in terms of lore.

The Illusion school in Vanilla is sad and needs more mods like this.
And Muffle is an Illusion? What, you create an illusion that makes you THINK you are moving silently? Muffle should be an Alteration Spell!
Thanks

I tried this out, and it didn't work initially.

Thank you.

though it would be nice if you actually made them look like ghosts, now it just looks odd XD
