Attention: This mod is no longer being supported or updated.
This mod has been uploaded by "The Care Taker". This account is run by Nexus Mods’ Community Development Lead, TerrorFox1234, for the purpose of hosting mods created by authors who are no longer active within the community. I have kept the mod description as it was in its last state, except for the removal of dead links and some minor spelling fixes when needed.
If you are a mod author and would like to make use of this service, it is as simple as getting in touch with TerrorFox1234 and saying that you want your mod(s) to be taken care of when you leave the modding community. Nothing will change for as long as you remain active. If you have opted in and become inactive for more than a year, OR if you announce your departure (either in a direct message to me or as a public announcement), your mods will be transferred to this account. Any permissions you have specified will remain in effect.
If, later on, you decide to reactivate your account and wish to regain control of your mod, send a message to TerrorFox1234. Bear in mind that you must be able to prove you are the original author. (The best way to do this is by sending a message from the original account that you used to upload the mod.)
Thank you for your consideration and happy modding!
Would it be possible to get the 2.0 version to SSE? Judging from the screenshots, 3.0 removes a lot of snow among other changes compared to the 2.0 version.
From JKs Cities - Lite and Superlite: - Changed name of Merged esp files to be 'JKs Lite - Cities.esp' instead of 'Jks Lite - Merged.esp' , and for superlite etc, to make it easier once Towns come out in full.
... Among other changes (not sure how it affects Windhelm), so the patch for that mod might need an update.
Thanks for this mod btw, it's a much needed improvement for Windhelm :)
great mod! your textures also look amazing. but i ran into a problem, with other (skyrim HD) textures partly mixing with yours. i have no idea how this might happen, also i made sure to let your mod overwrite everything else (even DynDolod) on the bridge to windhelm:
in windhelm:
edit: i took a closer look in my data folder and i have wholdcrackedbrick and wholdcrackedbrick2 in the architecture/windhelm texture folder aswell as whruinstonedark. looks like one of those is the "bad boy", since those are not covered by your mod and look similar to the texture in the pictures. i THINK it might be wholdcrackedbrick2.
So I've been trying to make Windhelm even snowier. I was just experimenting around and tried replacing all the ground textures with snow textures- album
- and I lost my mind, so beautiful. Place looks snowed in with all your snow piles.
Only issue are inconsistencies in snow textures - album - it seems that some of your meshes use their own snow texture.
Not really sure what to do about it. Took a quick peak in xedit and wow, did you do a lot of work.
Looks nice! Was this Snowy Windhelm 2.0 or 3.0? It almost looks like 2.0 to me. With 3.0 I made it so whatever landscape snow you have in your landscape textures should be used so the problem in the screenshots should happen. In 2.0 (this was before I was a very experienced modder) I used my own snow texture and it clashed with whatever snow texture is in the landscape folder. So should just be able to replace Snowy Windhelm's snow texture with the one from your landscape folder. I believe the path is 'textures/SnowyWindhelm'.
Well that's bad news! I'll have a look at the problem. I have a feeling it's the meshes. The Windhelm meshes are a complete mess, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it ends up being.
So I've been looking into it, and I'm wondering if it's because I'm using Noble Skyrim with Quality 2k Snow. Noble Skyrim makes some of the windhelm ground textures snowy like WHroughgroundmud for instance. I'll move this over to pm to not spam your wall
Also hoping for a patch for the Director's Cut. I'm holding off switching to that version in the hopes this gets patched soon, actually. Windhelm just doesn't look right without this mod now.
Back. Tried that following Arthmoor's instructions on the USLEEP comment section
For whatever reason though, it says that, despite it being activated and sharing the same exact spelling as I entered, it says that the master is missing...

Thoughts?
I wonder why this is happening then.

Any chance of making a patch for that version?
When I uninstall the mod, it works just fine
For whatever reason though, it says that, despite it being activated and sharing the same exact spelling as I entered, it says that the master is missing...
So I'm unable to check if it works or not :/
Anyway, here's a download link: https://mega.nz/#F!H0QXRL7Q!0mzkWE4JNqL4LMHk5uKX2g

But need a little help about Gray Quarter...
After I install Skyrim Improved Puddles , all puddles work fine , except the Gray Quarter's two puddles .
Can you tell me how to fix it ? Many thanks .
