Please, read the description and comment section, before commenting.
    Thank you.

Since some people still do not read the comment section before commenting, I decided to post some comments in this sticky post.
Read these comments, before asking for lesser hints (basically, rearranged from one place to another), and before commenting about the fact, that you play Skyrim in feverish haste and don't have time for solving the puzzle order (in this case, this mod is definitely not for you. Feel free to not use it.).

Comment from @BobbyP92, who truly understood the core idea of this mod:
    Spoiler:

"Simple but brilliant idea! This reminds me of the older gaming days where you had to write codes down and figure them out by elimination. I hadn't even thought of this for a mod idea. ..."

My answer to @Asaforg, that will show you the Lore basis about why hints should not exist (also, read the description):
    Spoiler:

    "@Asaforg,Thank you.

I thought about making some edits for murals, actually. Or making gravures on the Dragon Language in the crypt. Something like less obvious hints. But, only in the beginning...
If think about this, why should anyone make hints for this?
To show it more properly, let's look at the Lore.
These claws are the keys for the Dragon Priests' crypts.
"Dragon Priests were once the loyal servants of the ancient dragons of Skyrim. They ruled over countless armies of men in their gods' names. Dragons were revered more than any other, and they were comfortable in assuming positions as god-kings over men. Their servants, the dragon priests, kept the peace between dragons and men, and their power was so great that uttering any word for "dragon" was forbidden to all mankind except them. They made laws for the society of men, and were on par with kings."
So, Priests were the higher-rank Ancient Dragon servants.
Next, "when the Priest died, his followers were made undead and buried with him. The followers would rise from their resting places in shifts to worship at the sarcophagus of the Priest, transferring their life force to him, and to defend their barrow against unwanted intruders. They would then return to their graves and regenerate their life force while sleeping. It's speculated that these undead followers would have been indistinguishable from the living when the barrows were new."
This shows, that Priest is surrounded by his servants, that will defend their master's crypt with their life.
So, we have the crypt for the higher-rank servant of the Ancient Dragons, basically, king, that full of his lesser servants, that defend peace of the king with their life.
It's implied, that crypt and what's inside must not be investigated by anyone.
    Dragon Priest
    Dragon Cult
    Amongst the Draugr
So, I don't think, that this mod needs hints. In any form."

Those who do not know what is encryption, decryption, and how it works, please, read the "Logic" section in the description.

Q: Hey, there is one book in the game that...
A: No. Stop. No. Go and read the comment section. Now.

When I first played the game, I felt really offended with the in your face solution to the door puzzle. I mean. Why make a puzzle at all? A puzzle that a lowlife bandit could decipher? I mean. Seriously?

This mod is a great solution.

Although I would love something like- maybe, one of the draugr has the key on its body? A riddle/code written in the dragon tongue that you have to try and decipher. Opening the door would be like this:

    1) find the Draugr that has the code (it's engraved on something the draugr is wearing, easily missable; could also be on more than one draugr, each having a different clue)
    2) code is something in the dragon tongue (a story, dragon lore, a riddle), solve it for the animal combination (there should be a book ingame with Dragon Speech/Ancient Nord Dragon Lore, maybe Farengar gives/loans/sells it to you because there might be information on it that could be useful for retrieving the stone "And don't you dare lose that book!")
    3) activate the claw (wearing another specific item you find in the dungeon that again can be anything)
    4) open door
    5) if possible, the code/location of the item that when worn activates the claw is always different and randomized, so that reloading or just memorizing it for the next playthrough won't work
  3. How does this work do I just spin the dial try the key spin the dial try the key? Is there any skill to it? When I get the first dial in the right spot does it click?

Nope: it's a guessing game. It's not that hard, you just have to keep trying combinations until you figure it out.

I completely agree with the premise of this mod: Why even bother having puzzle doors... if there is no puzzle? It really feels like Todd was making things as easy as possible for the kiddos, ugh...

This is perfect! Bethesda's ''Puzzles'' were insulting as hell in vanilla Skyrim. It's nice to have a challenge for once.

Yep: this was exactly what I wanted, thank you. Imagine: having to actually 'use' your brain while playing Skyrim...

THANK you! It was so, incredibly insulting to be faced with a potentially interesting puzzle, only to discover that the 'answer' was provided right off the @#!&$ng bat! Thanks for the vote of no confidence concerning your audience's intelligence, Todd...

Hi, and thank you for the mod! This is simply brilliant! :D
I can't find this for Skyrim SE, so is it possible to use this file as-is for SE? If not, would you be so kind as to port this masterpiece to SE? (or give someone else permission to do it) :)

Download SSE Nif Optimizer. Download and extract this mod. Copy paste "SSE NIF Optimizer.exe" into the mod's folder. Run the .exe, shouldn't need to change any options, just click "Optimize." Delete .exe. Rezip and install. Done.
