Silly question: is there a way to add a "proper" sheath to this weapon? As much as I love this sword, the lack of a "proper" full sheath kinda bothers me. Pretty much the only thing stopping me for making this sword my character's main weapon is the lack of a sheath.
Quick not on the on the hot fix for the scabbard : The piece of leather is no longer sticking out, but it is still outside, like a piece of decorative leather, it is not turned back in yourself.
Any plans to update this to SSE? Cuz I really want it for my planned Nord (Imperious plus Vokriinator Choice Cuts plus Wintersun makes for a very dedicated two-handed sword wielder), but I don't know how to convert it ;-;
Also, if you're taking requests, please make The Knochenbrecher from Darksword Armory (https://www.darksword-armory.com/medieval-weapon/medieval-swords/the-knochenbrecher-1327/). Thanks in advance, and if you're not, then I apologize.
Sorry but this is not a Kriegsmesser. Whether it's any different kind of sword or a "messer" is defined by the hilt. In your mod the hilt is made like a typical longsword, the messer had a hilt like.. like a messer (knife in german). Look up pictures of the kriegsmesser, it has a knife like hilt.
Edit: pardon me, I was not aware you this sword is based on something else.
Just a quick message to say that the hot fix patch doesn't seem to work for me. Am I alone ? Could you double check that you did upload the correct "corrected" one ? (I just uploaded a wrong file at my job, sooooo .......)
Beautiful sword. Unfortunately there are';t many kriegsmesser swords made for Skyrim. Will you, by any chance, be willing to tackle some more in the future?
One with black grip that lends itself more to one-handed use, would be nice. Something like this one:
Hey Bil, I was using that sword right now and I noticed that the sheath has some sort of... pointy thing sticking out of it. It seems that it was supposed to "connect" the sheath to the body, but it looks like it is inverted. Is that intended?
EDIT: You can see it clearly in the second row of the images section, second to last.
It does, I just came here looking to see if a fix had been done for that. What it is is the strap for the vanilla sheath to attach to belt area, but several sword mods I've seen use the sheath but flip it around, and I honestly have no idea why.
