Since people have asked it more than once, I'll just sticky this answer.
This tweak is a super lightweight one that tweaks ONE single record from the vanilla game. It should work fine with just about everything.
From my testing, it works fine with or without USLEEP. Unless a future USLEEP update makes it obsolete, it should work with any version of USLEEP. If you're using ""Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix" for the extra posing ability, it works fine with that too. Also, it should not conflict in any way with mods that merely alters the mannequin's appearance.
Just make sure it comes last in the load order in case of a random dirty edit from some random mod.
Awesome, maybe now I'll actually be able to leave my room :D There's a save I have where a mannequin is blocking a door and I literally cannot leave my room, had to reload a previous save and now I'm very cautious of what rooms I go into lmao.
Lesson here, mannequins are jerks and like to prevent you from leaving places.
I know.... Once i had my Headphones on and the lights off....so i go in my cellar to check on my Fish.... and a Mannequin comes around the corner!!!! NEED SOMETHING!!!!!!! (I almost punched my Laptop out of fear!!!!! Lol!!!!!)
I hope now I will not run away from the house when I see a walking mannequin. I am very afraid of them, and always keep in sight until I close the door or leave the location. Every time I want to go to the room, and I pray that they stay in their places and if they are not, I slowly leave the location in a cold sweat. Skyrim mannequins - like a kind of phobias.
My most terrifying encounter, and one I still cannot explain at all: I was in the Soul Cairn, fighting skeletal monsters, constantly unnerved by the unceasing cracks of thunder, and the dim, purple lighting. Dodging in and out of obsidian, cyclopean stone ruins. I went under a massive archway, darkened in the purple twilight, and standing square in the doorway was a blank-faced, soulless mannequin; silently blocking all access; its empty eye dents staring through my soul until I yelped and fled in terror. How it got there, I will never know.
Been struggling with mannequins getting into a weird crouching position for ages while using USLEEP. This finally fixed it for me. Using Elysium estate with 16 mannequins. Thank you so much! They occasionally still look different from one another in pose, but it's nothing major anymore thanks to this little fix. Highly recommend for anyone with a home with a lot of mannequins and/or a heavily modded game. Endorsing and tracking for future saves! <3
I remember well when this happened to me for the first time. Untill then, I had no idea that this bug exists. I got scared like never before, when the mannequin "jumped" on me in my house all of a sudden. :D Thanks for this. :-)
