Absolutely essential stuff. It's common knowledge magicka classes are unplayable without some manner of silly hat.
I was always jealous of the drip on some of those Daggerfall wizards, and now I can finally join their ranks in spellcaster fashion elite. Thank you.

Its sad because this mod glitches when you decapitate an enemy using the silly hat, and theres apparantly no fix for that

Would love to use this mod, but I wish there was a craftable-only version to avoid the nude enemies issue others seem to run into. Still, I might look into editing that myself for personal use. Looks too good not to consider!

If you succeed in getting a crafting only version working, you could ask the mod author if you could release it as a patch or something. I'm sure a lot of users of this mod would be happy to not have naked wizards running around in there game.

1.7.3rel48 is the last version. Update it. I have beautiful hats in 1.9.32.0.8 Skyrim with SKSE 1.7.3rel48 and doesn't give me errors.

Awesome mod, but I had to uninstall after encountering many naked wizards, got on my nerves after a while. EDIT: It was actually really funny at first, I still love this mod.

Can there be a version that doesn't add the hats to court wizards?

Simply go into TES5Edit. Expand the esp and go to the "Outfits" section. It will list the court wizards outfits with their names in them. Right click on them and select "Remove".
Close TES5Edit, make sure in the pop up screen the esp is selected and only the esp. Un-tick "back-up Plugins".

Done. This eliminates the court wizard outfits while keeping the rest of the mod intact.

I followed rentak's directions, and it worked. However, this leaves the Court Wizards without any default outfit, so they're naked. I fixed that by opening up this mod in the Creation Kit, opening up each Court Wizard, and setting their default outfit to Court Wizard again. That seems to have fixed the problem.

(Court Wizards names in the CK: Calcelmo, Farengarsecretfire, Falion, Madena, Wuunferth, Wylandriah)

How do you get your character to be able to wear a circlet and hat together? I have the wizard hats, circlets version installed and crafted a wizard hat [circlet] but my character can still only wear either the wizard hat or a circlet, not both together. Any help would be appreciated.

That's because the "circlets version" identifies the hat as a circlet. You can't wear two circlets at once, unfortunately. What you would need in order to see hair/ears AND wear a circlet, is a version that works as an "accessory" (like the earrings from CCO).

The modder made them as circlets because if he made them as hats the mages with hooded robes become naked. We do not want it so he decided to convert them into circlets.
