Ported it to SE with this guide: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition
      You'll need also this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2786/?

Finished the guest and didn't see any bugs.

Hey man, I hate to sound like a lazy freeloader, but is there any chance you would consider uploading your port? I realize learning to do it myself is a valuable skill but I simply don't have the time to figure it all out right now. Thanks!

You clearly doesn't have enough endorsement, that's a shame because your mod is unique and some people will certainly miss it.
    Endorsed, played, and enjoyed !

Good evening, I seem to have come across an issue.

I have been looking for a mod of this type for some time now, mostly because I thought the original reward for Destroying the Dark Brotherhood was absolute B/S. You just brought down an organization that deals in assassinating anyone and everyone at a moment's notice and until recently no one has felt the power to annihilate, and the vanilla reward was quite honestly like getting paid a Penny for replacing an Aston Martin's engine.

ANYWAY, TO THE POINT AT HAND

So far, your mod works great. I got attacked by some random assassin, I go down to the hideout, infiltrate, and kill everyone inside...and then nothing happens. No quest advance, nothin. I'm thinking the fact that I couldn't find Astrid in there at all might be part of the problem, but I cannot think of any mod that I have, other than immersive citizens, that is doing anything regarding Astrid's presence. What does one do in this situation?

      Hello
I got a simalar problem, I killed everyone in the sancturary but nothing happend. I use console getstage DBDestroy it should be 35 then setstage DBDestroy 40 and the quest should continue. You can look under UESPWiki their you find all quest an der stages with numbers. Sorry fpr my english, natrally I speak german. But be warnd consol commands always a little bit risky.

I just wanted to say: Grelod is not innocent (ô_ó)
No matter if I destroy or join the DB, I always want to see her dead, I just hate it how she treats the children.

Apart from my personel preference, great mod. I always like it, to have a choice in game, even though I don't really need it. I usually try to be the hero, but it feels way better to be able to activly decide to be one.

    Thanks for your mods ^^
    Cheers

Thank you for this mod! This is the best "Should have been done in the original game" mod since the "Paarthurnax Dilemma" fixed that whole sh***y situation between the Greybeards and the blades. Sure was great telling Delphine to stuff it!

I've always despised the whole setup for "Fail Sithis". I never wanted to help that brat or kill Grelod just so that I could get at the DB to wipe them out. It never made sense. This mod fixes the whole problem and I intend to enjoy destroying the DB on my next play-through.

Would love it if you could make a tiny accompanying mod where when you go into Aventus' house and have a brief conversation along the lines of:

    "You're doing WHAT?!"
"Child, this is insane. You're calling on powers that will darken your soul."
"I cannot ignore this. Wait here while I get the guard." (Intimidate.) If intimidate attempt fails, Aventus runs away and is never seen/heard from again. If it succeeds, Aventus waits until you talk to a guard in Windhelm. Guard enters house and walks Aventus away. He eventually ends up in Riften orphanage.
    Or...
"You need help. Let me get someone to talk to you." (Persuade.) Same results as above.

    Anyway, thanks again.

I agree. There should be a way to talk Aventus out of his scheme, and should be a way to help the orphanage and save it from the general corruption of the city

It's a shame that the new Penitus Oculatus armor, which looks absolutely fantastic by the way, wasn't released as its own mod and doesn't support women + beast races (hood).

By the way, if anyone is having CTD's when equipping / unequipping the Penitus Oculatus Hood, I've found out that it's caused by any custom armor mods such as HothTrooper44's "Immersive Armor" compilation mod (Hothtrooper44_Compilation.esp). To get this mod to work with it, just use the version without the armor changes. Alternatively, if you want to keep (most of) the armor, you can delete the instances of anything related to the hood and still use the new gauntlets / cuirass / boots using TES5Edit, but you'll be using the vanilla Penitus Oculatus Helmet. I'm not sure why the custom Penitus Oculatus Hood added by this mod is unfriendly with other custom armor mods, but that's how it is.

I can’t even begin to express how much of a valuable find this mod was for me! Not only does it make up for all the shortcomings of the original questline (when choosing to eradicate the DB blight from Skyrim), but the reward will help me “fund” a custom fort/village mod I want to use.

Also, without a doubt your vision & armor/weapons for the Penitus Oculatus are wicked cool!

Thx again boss & if you’re still modding, keep em’ coming!
