you serious? look at the noses, they look almost identical, all of them. Clearly the mod author hasn't spent a minute in racemenu

Ok. Now that I am less mad about you making these presets which you plan to make into followers right after I made my presets and made a few of them followers, I can actually look at your work.

They do not look like the pictures you posted of what they are supposed to look like. They look old and some (like Mulan) look unhealthy.
If you were to show me these presets without telling me who they were supposed to be, I would not know.

I won't post a link to my Presets and followers here because this is your page and that would be downright mean. This is just meant to give you some advice on improving your presets. I could not have made my presets and especially not have made them into followers without the advice I am about to give you.

But I will tell you to look at my work. They may not be everyone cup of tea and may not be 100% perfect but you can tell who they are supposed to be without me having to tell you.

What mods are you using? For face, body, skin, etc?

I made my mods on an 8 year old potato with 4 GB Ram, 1 GB VRam, 2.6 GHz processor using everything listed on my description pages.
I used tools like TES5Edit to make a Merge Patch and Wrye Bash to make a Bash Patch to stabilize my game. I used Memory Boost, SKSE ini, etc. It allowed me to use such mods for skin and body which required more V Ram than I had because I worked out how to stabilize my system. Also, I read up on how to put RaceMenu and ECE to work and utilize them to the best of their ability which allowed me to put more detail into my presets without too much extra effert.

I say this because you can easily go back and bring some more life and youth to yours this way. Pocahontas is actually not bad and Jane was a great idea. But the others can use some tweaking.

You are still (lack of a better PG word) "not a nice person" for posting these 2 weeks after I started posting my presets and followers. Not against Nexus rules but still not polite at all. Kind of like pulling my work out from under my feet.

I dont think that was author's intent to post it just to angry you. There are plethora mods changing Lydia and no-one is complaining. You did your job nicely, this is just different approach to the same subject. Plus you cant check ALL the mods that are posted daily.

Changing Lydia is different. She is part of vanilla Skyrim and Bethesda has allowed us to mod the game. Custom armors or followers, etc that are added may be redone or updated by other modders but there is usually more time between. This is like one person opening up an ice coffee shop. There may be other coffee shops and have been coffee shops around the area for a while but this is an ice coffee shop. Then someone else comes a week later and opens up the only other ice coffee shop and puts it right across the street. That is basically saying "Hey, that product just came out but it sucks so I made this one."

Or taking an armor mod like Gwelda Little Red Riding Hood and making a new version of Little Red Riding Hood immediately after the Gwelda version on it came out as if to say "Hey, Little Red Riding Hood armor just came out but it sucked so here is this new one".

I don't expect everyone to like my work. We all have different tastes. But I also think it is rude to come along and completely redo what I have been doing shortly after I started it. Get my point?

You act as if these characters are yours and yours alone to make presets/followers for. Hell, I don't think either of these mods look like the Disney princesses, but the characters are not yours, so stop being so defensive about them. It's just like Tami535 said, people make replacers for npcs all the time and sometimes not too far apart from each other. It sounds like you're just being bitter. Why worry about what someone else does, worry about your own mod. If people want to use yours, great, if not, they have other options.

I am trying to see Meggan0401's point. If the author of this mod (thagoodness) was aware of her work (which I love, btw) and inspired by this Disney Princess theme, a simple "hat tip" would have sufficed. Sure, no one "owns" the idea or theme, and yes, there are a few follower mods on the Nexus for Frozen's Anna and Elsa, and finally, thagoodness didn't build or borrow her presets directly. . .well, I just shot down my own argument.

I dunno, if I knew a mod was already published to the nexus (I believe her work did get highlighted on the Skyrim Nexus Hot File marquee already) and I was taking a different approach at that theme, I'd find a way to give kudos or at the very least acknowledge the mod was out there. But that is just me.

My only point was to give him some pointers about his textures sense he is using certain hair and eye files but it does not look like he is because the skin textures look old. If he is not using higher res skin textures because his system can't handle it my ONLY point was to give him some tips I got which helped me.

I also called him not nice because I understand the idea was not mine, I don't own the princesses and there was a follower mod of Elsa and Anna at one point. But to remake the presets I just made shortly after I made them while not against Nexus rules, it is kind of mean. When I have multiple messages from fans who saw this mod and wanted to tell me to watch it I think it is worth my time to go look.

My opinion on the presets would be the same regardless of any work I may or may not have released. I am not bitter. I had a huge learning curve to deal with that i am still getting down.

Yeah, the timing made me mad but putting that aside the way adults do, I gave advice that was given to me.

That "this is a not nice thing to do" sentence was secondary to the advice I offered in my post. So quit hating.

I get why you are angry, you had somewhat original idea and this mod makes it too.....but its very possible author just missed your mod :D Its nice of you to give an advice although you really sound bitter about it :D
