The mod will scan the surrounding areas for bandits by default or if you wish, any npcs as you play the game. When it finds them it will replace their stamina, health, and magicka with new values. The new values are calculated from the MCM menu settings chosen. The player can set for each stat a minimum and a maximum range. from 10 to 1000. 10 means 10 percent of the players present stat. 100 is equal to the players stats. And 1000 means 10 times as high as the players stats.
The mod has an override toggle in the mcm menu to allow th eplayer to select wetehr to relevel bandits or all npcs. There are some factiosn exempted, such as dragon faction. See sticky in posts for details.
It is needed because mods like OBIS bandits that provide hostile npcs start off easy at lower levels but by level 15 or a little higher the toons are very hard to kill. Becomes a grind instead of game play. This is made worse by having the toons appear in large groups. The time needed to take them down is too long and the fun evaporates. This mod will relevel those toons providing a custom challenge based on player preferences. As a bonus the player can choose whether bandits are giving magic potions or not.
Here is a funky video I threw together while sick and taking cough syrup with codeine. I apologize. Will make a proper one later. Example one is without the mod active and at level 18, attacking a bandit infected fort. The second is with mod active, also level 18, attacking same fort. in Example 2 was somewhat muddled by two mephala assassins showing up for the party. sigh.
thanks for sharing this mod, there's a mcm menu, just wondering the purpose of having the relevel book of options being spawned into your inventory? idk i keep getting spammed and sometimes i get 3 books being spawned into my inventory, imo if its not needed could we get a version that disable this, thanks again for sharing this mod.
Sorry i dont do a lot of posting on these sites. But did you add the eggs you were talking about to bypass alternate start? I redid my whole load order around deadly encounters with flesh wound, npc cleaner and all the good stuff. Was disappointed i couldnt make the releveler work. Please do i wanna take in the full sands of time experience its effing amazing! I go through beth and i play on xbox.
Hi. You lost me. Let’s start from the beginning. How is relevel not working? What alternate start problem? I thought the only one with an issue was genesis . Confused.
I just looked through comments on most of your mods and i honestly cant find that comment or which mod it was on. I guess i should start by saying with alternate start i cant get the book. Havent tried without alternate start because i need it. Any way you could add an egg?
Hey, so this mod is altering my followers stats as well.
I saw your comment a couple posts down that it should be placed last in the load order just in case, something that I overlooked before beginning my game.
I went ahead and placed at the bottom of my order, just in case, even though I'm already into a game. I tested it out though, and even followers who I hadn't met before are having their stats recalculated.
Am I screwed for this playthrough? I know it'd pretty much be my fault, but I'm just wondering if it's because if the load order location at the start of my game that messed it up for me.
I haven't updated to SSE yet because although there's a somewhat stable skse available, many of my mods haven't been updated from oldrim yet and to each his own, but I personally prefer oldrim with all the mods I want rather than skipping out on some of them in favor of graphics and even stability.
I very much appreciate you updating this for oldrim though! It probably goes without saying but please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm assuming I can update the mod to 2.3 from my current version without any trouble.
Well... no. The new conditions are in a quest event in the esp file. Sooo a so called clean save procedure is needed. There are a number of writeups on how to do a clean save install. Here is the one from our web site: https://sotrealms.enjin.com/optimizationsubcleansave
2.3 - a) version jump to match se version b) adds two conditions to npcs chosen to relevel: 1) cannot be a player follower 2) has to be hostile to player
I really love this MOD! Any chance MCM coming to special edition? Also, are you sure this does not effect dragon faction? I have the toggle set to effect all NPC's and I am currently level 50 and dragons die in under 10 seconds with me and my 5 followers. Without this MOD at level 50 ancient dragons have tons of health and can take a while to kill. I would love to have that back along with this mod for general humanoids and bandits.
Hi. In version 1.7, SOTOBISCloakSpell "SOT OBIS Cloak Spell" [SPEL:xx000D85] is lacking the "No Absorb/Reflect" flag. As I understand it, this can create unintended colorful interactions with NPC who have spell absorption (like Thalmor using "Weapons and Armor Attributes").
Oh decent I haven't downloaded it yet I was just wondering, so I'll be able to do a playthrough with Lord of the rings followers and only enemies will be scaled higher? Not my followers?

Important: New game required!!!!!!!!!!
Why is this needed? What does it do?
