Sad that he isn’t on nexus anymore so it can’t be ported to Xbox :(

Would absolutely love and appreciate a port to Skyrim SE for this mod.  There are way too many "Skimpy" sets and not enough of this quality!

noticed there are serpentine dragon scales in the files but no armor, is this mod still in development?

I know this is no longer being updated
but I wished Serpentine Dragons and Durnehviir had one

Serpentine would be pretty disgusting looking, but the Durnehviir would probably look pretty cool

Noticed an issue with the Crimsonscale Boots on a female character-the boots show the base Dragonscale texture. Anyone else noticed this?

I have, you can fix this issue by changing the textures to the models in SSEedit.

How exactly do you do this? I'm not very familiar with SSEEdit, but I'd love to know how to fix the boot textures.

I was just going to ask that! It's kind of a shame the author has yet to release the mod for SSE, but it's understandable since he may be busy

you can easily port this mod yourself, just needs to convert the esp from form 43 to form 44, all you need to do is load up the esp in creation kit, ignore all errors, when it's finished loading, save and exit. You can check if the form has been properly updated to form 44 by using sseedit and checking the file header of the updated esp.

I can confirm this works in SE as there are dragons that are dropping the corresponding scales mentioned in this mod. I have spawned sets from the console without issue, but haven't reached dragon forging yet to confirm if it's working.

Yeah, I concur with DoktorSavage. Literally all you have to do is download and install the mod, open CK, rename a file from the mod and then rename it what is used to be (so CK recognizes that you changed something) then save and you're all set! I've tested it a little and don't see any dragons dropping the scales right now. It may start happening once the dragons start respawning though. I've also tried adding the ancient and revered scales via console commands, but the crafting does not appear.

TL;DR it works with console commands, but organic obtaining does not seem to work in SSE.

      EDIT:
It seems to have righted itself. The armor are at least showing up in the forge. Still waiting on the scales to show up organically.

i downloaded the mod directly to skyrim se through vortex and everything functions as normal except if you use backshields the default scale shield appears instead

Did you change the first two symbols of ID to ones in your mod's load order?
