Hi Cynndal, I love this house and the estate. It's the only house mod in the whole game that I truly call home. When I'm gone for a long time, it feels like a great relief to walk through the large gate and being home again. I have 6 horses now. Is there any plan to have a non-loading front gate with a large stable inside the estate? I know that's a bit of a tall order, but just wondering. There is never anything happening (after the dragon incursion) at the front gate, so the stable would be just a plus. Thanks for a wonderful mod and an absolute necessity to the game. MaraD.
To put the entire estate in the Tamriel worldspace would require a ton of work, which I sadly don't have time for...not to mention that the resulting lag would probably make it unplayable.
only problem im having with this modded home is im constantly ctd whenever im inside and im not even in the areas where the fps will drop and books on bookshelves will go flying everywhere if i put or remove books off them
Is there by any chance some easy way my CK-challenged self could manage to convert the Pinecrest-Cliffside Basement Patch to work with the interior version of Cliffside? I recently started using Vivid Weathers, and discovered the older VW version of Cliffside (that you made when VW itself was an earlier version) doesn't actually block all the rain any more.
You could use TESEdit to change which door it links to fairly easily. I'll be honest, it's been so long that I don't remember exactly what two cells that patch links together, lol.
A huge thank you! Your tip was actually enough for me to figure out how to do it in TES5Edit. I opened the patch, found the door reference with a matching RefID in the Cliffside ESP, simply dragged over the different fields from Cliffside into the patch, and voila! It works flawlessly.
Been doing a little house hunting in Skyrim, in case my character decides on family. Need a possible, and don't want to be stuck within holds. Really like your idea of no loading doors! Strong selling point. :P I could agree with some of the other comments, in that the interior of the house can be a little dark - I don;t use ENB or weather , mod.. But I also understand your comment on an exterior cell. So maybe I'll just bring a few more candles! :P It would be great if the gate was an opening, so one could just walk through. But again, considering I don't know how to make a mod, not knocking what you've done! Also agree, would have been great to have followers, family make use of that lake. It's so inviting! Again, understand your reasons. I have a mod with followers assemble, so I can easily yank followers in with me! :P But overall, I like what you've done, and the mod is a keeper for me. I love the sprawling farmhouse quality of the house. And the large yard. It's very peaceful. Good work..
is there a chance to put some light sources into the Estate? The entire house is super dark (and i´m not using any ENB. ENB´s darken very much, usully). At Daytime it´s okay. But as soon as the sun goes down, you almost need a torch to navigate through the house. It is dark like a cave in there, at night. I think some chandeliers would help a lot!
What weather mod are you using? The house is in an exterior cell, so any weather or lighting mod that makes nights darker will cause the house to be dark.
Hi! I am not using any weather mod nor any ENB. I could try to adjust the brightness via Imaginator, but that is not a propper solution - turning it ON and OFF all the time.
I am having a little problem in the gallery. The wall display for the Elder Scrolls is not working. I tried to display the Elder Scroll (Dragon) and it said I lacked the object. I actually have it my inventory and I've already finished the main quest. Is there something I need to do first in order to hang it there? Thanks. Mara
Hi there! this house mod is great, I really like everything about it.. but unfortunately, days after I took all my followers and my family in this area, the revered dragon showed up.. it was flying in through the buildings like it was a bug in the game.. I don't understand why.. can you plz help? thanks..

That's ok and I totally understand. It's still the best house in the game.
Endorsed.
Thanks.

i load the 1.5 version without the 1.6 patch and now it's working.
