If you having bug problems I feel bad for you son
    I got 99 problems and a glitch ain't one

jk that was completely unfunny and stupid (but then again everything I say is unfunny and stupid lol)

This mod works as intended, I tried everything to fix the damn crossbow bug/glitch thingy but it seems it can't be fixed. I won't be adding any updates or taking requests on this particular mod.

This mod is extremely limiting, please learn to use xpmse skelton by groovtama, you will be very glad once you learn to use it (you can even adjust the damn crossbow with xpmse )

there are basic instructions on how to install xpmse in the sticky comment below this comment

I borrowed this quote from JRC0011, on how to set up swords on your back (or other custom weapon positions) with xp32e. I highly recommend to make a custom set-up

"Its quite a tedious setup actually. First off you'll need FNIS. You'll also need xp32 Maximum Skeleton Extended and then you'll need Racemenu. Not only that but you'll need to also install what's required for those mods to work, you can refer to the mod pages to find out what they are.

First off install FNIS, after you install it you can go onto installing Racemenu. Once you've installed it's required files (SKSE for instance), just install with the Nexus Mod Manager (or similar). After that you can install XPMSE (xp32 Maximum Skeleton Extended) which will install a plugin for Racemenu so you can customize exactly where your weapons are equipped on your character. You can also install with the Nexus Mod Manager (or similar), it's a Fomod setup.

Once everything is installed you'll need to go to your data file and find tools, open it, open the folder named "GenerateFNIS_for_Users" and run the "GenerateFNISforUsers.exe". Tick the box "Skeleton Arm Fix" and press "Update FNIS Behavior". You'll then need to open up the race menu and go across to the weapons tab and customize your weapon positioning to your liking.

Good luck mate. It can be a bit of a pain but worth it in the end.
Here are the links to all the mods:

Oh yes you'll also need Equipping Overhaul: http://www.nexusmods...yrim/mods/49784"

Thanks man ...but I highly recommend you learn how to use xpms, it's waaaay better, you can customize your skeleton in-game, in case a weapon is clipping into your armour or something

No. There's only one "equipping slot" for each type of weapon. Unless you use Dual Sheath Redux

So from the Race menu option is there a way to get the one handed sword on your back and not have it flop around all over the place like its having a seizure? also if you could copy and paste the values of the swords you have that would be great thanks!

I'm guessing you're using xp32se?...there's an option called "sword style" in the race menu, and also in the MCM menu.

The settings that I have adjusted are:

      greatsword left/right= -1.7
      greatsword forward/back= -3.3
      greatsword yaw= 2.2
      greatsword pitch- 10
      greatsword roll= 6

      sword style= 1
      sword left/right= -2.4
      sword forward/back= -2.6
      sword up/down= 6.6
      sword yaw= 10

Is there a way to make it so that the Two handed sword is on the right and the one handed sword is on the left? Thanks!

I made a video on youtube on how to customize the skeleton nif: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UubdtpHijGw

I also wrote down instructions on the video in case people don't like my extremely manly voice :p but I will copy/paste them here too:

EDIT: I said "you just gotta follow ALL those steps till you get to get your weapons or whatever to the position that you want" at 10:16, but that's not true, you ONLY have to repeat steps 11 and 12 to get your skeleton to the shape/position you want.

I hope this helps some people, I seen another video that shows how to edit skeletons, but it's in korean. So there needs to be an English one as well If you have any problems, Please message me and I will try my best to help you.

      INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SKELETON, I always copy and paste mine to the Desktop, you can copy&paste yours to whichever location suits you,
just make sure you have that back-up skeleton before you make a custom skeleton!

The Male skeletons location is: Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/character assets
The Female skeletons location is: Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/character/character assets female

I have steam installed into my D: drive, the Default location should be in your C: drive.

The skeleton that I'm using is my own custon skeleton "witcher-like sword position", it's a completely vanilla skeleton, I've only adjusted
the 1H and 2H sword positions. That dagger on the picture is a part of the Armour and it's not functional

Step 2: Download the latest version of NIFSKOPE, I'm using Version 1.2.0 Alpha 2

Step 3: Open up Nifskope, load the skeleton you want to customize, I'm using the Skeleton.nif, which is the Male Human/elf skeleton.
the process is the same for each skeleton, so if you want to work with, say, the FemaleBeast.nif, you will do the EXACT same thing I'm
going to do with the Skeleton.nif

Step 4: This is where we actually start to Customize the skeleton, we will start with the BOW position, click on the Bows bone node,
which will be named WeaponBow. If you try yo adjust the WeaponBow bone on its own, the bows position will not change in-game,
      or you will CTD

Step 5: Right-click the WeaponBow name on the left panel, point your mouse at BLOCK and click COPY

Step 6: Right-click the WeaponBow name on the left panel again, point your mouse at BLOCK and click PASTE, Notice that there are now TWO BONES
      instead of just one.

Step 7: Go to the left panel and left click on the WeaponBow slot that is 1 slot higher, notice when you click on each slot, a Bone on the skeleton
lights up yellow. The bone that you want to adjust will ALWAYS be the one that's right above the original bone-slot.

Step 8: With your bone selected, look at the bottom pane labeled "block details", and under "value", you will see the bones name with a small "txt"
to the left of it, click the small "txt"

Step 9: You will now have another window, the name "WeaponBow" will be highlighted, Delete the name and press OK,
Notice that the bone-slot above WeaponBow is now clear, It is ready to be customized

Step 10: Right-click the CLEARED slot, point your mouse at the TRANSFORM, and click EDIT, a new window will appear

Step 11: You can adjust the position of the Bow with all 6 of the numbers, DO NOT adjust the "scale". I'm going to click random numbers just for
testing purposes, Once you're done adjusting the numbers, click ACCEPT

Step 12: Got to File and click SAVE AS, now click the skeleton that you're working with. The skeleton I'm working with is Skeleton.nif,
another window will appear, it's just a warning that you're Replacing the skeleton file with your custom skeleton file. Click YES

Step 13: Go into your skyrim game and see your custom skeleton. Keep in mind that IT WILL NEVER PERFECT ON THE FIRST TRY, You just need to be patient to get your desired result
you will just have to repeat the steps over and over till you get the position of your skeleton to the place you want.

When I install this mod it disables the weapon position sliders from racemenu, trying to tweak the positions of the weapons on back so they aren't clipping with the grandmaster ursine armour. Any one has a solution for me with this issue?

I made this specifically for Light Armour, I said so in the description. I'll tweak it to make it compatible with heavy armour later on today
