    EDIT: Updated - 2016/04/20
I have created another thread with a more complete guide!. Go check it out

Hi guys, this is the download and installation process.

If I understood correctly from the Compatibility page, if you check "Winter is coming" compatibility it says:
"Winter is Coming - Compatible (Cloaks meshes and textures are already included in my mod)"
So I think you don't need to download the meshes from that mod anymore? Well just in case I am wrong, download it anyway.

To install the mod, first you need to download the files from the download section of the mod. Now you can try and use a manager like NMM or MO, or you can also install it manually. I will explain the manually installation just because there is not a fomod yet.

So you have to download this files:
0-- "Winter is coming" (only for the meshes and textures, you don't need the plugin of the mod if you don't want to use it)
    1-- "Holds Assets",
2-- "Holds All-In-One Esp" OR "Holds Modular"
    and the updates:
    3-- "Holds HotFix"
and optionally download and use any compatibility patch you may need:
4-- "Holds Compatibility Patches" and "Holds - The People of Skyrim Compatibility Patch"

    Now for installing the mod.
First you must install: 0, 1 and 2.
After that, install the updates patches in order from old to new, in this case: 3.
Finally, extract 4 and use any compatibility patch file you may need.

If you have very poor fps in some heavy cluttered places or elsewhere, there are some "Holds Performance Patches" available as well.

I think you have CTDs (Crash To Desktop) every 10 minutes because you are reaching the max memory allocated.

You need SKSE and activate the memory tweak in the "skse.ini".

And you also need ENBoost to get this mod to work.

I will edit my post later and add those steps as well. But for the time being, I recommend you to follow this guide by Gopher for SKSE ini tweak and this guide also by Gopher for ENBoost (it is not for the latest version, but the process is basically the same but with the new files).

Yes this guides by Gopher are quite long videos, but he explains everything very well, and you actually learn something about why and how things happen, so I really recommend this guides for newer moders

    Hey man,

Let me just start by saying that I think that this is an awesome mod. What you did makes the game much cooler and adds a really awesome experience. I still haven't gotten mine to work, but I am still working on it.

One thing that I would like to see (and I am sure others would too), is an instructional video showing how to install the mod step by step. I know that you have a lot to do, but with this kind of mod you definitely have to show some people how to install it even if it may be simple. I know that there would be a lot of people that would love to see that. Other than that, keep up the awesome work

A video tutorial would be nice. But this mod is not that complicated to install. It is just a very big file, but the installation is very simple.

A how-to video would be great. I can't wait to experience it. Keep up the good work.
