For those who aren't such "goody-two-shoes roleplayers", I wonder how feasible it is to make all the stations in the vanilla locations owned by non-criminals just automatically charge you something for their use? (Presumably with an exception while the smithing tutorial is running in Riverwood). This might also discourage spending all one's time exploiting smithing and alchemy for gold. I find I spend too much time at it, and I always max out my Smithing and Alchemy stats before any other. >;-)
PS: Never mind; Crafting Requires Permission already does this. So, that mod's good for that scenario, and this one is good for roleplayers; all is well. :-)
was randomly checking mods saw this one and it made my day not by actually downloading it but reading "Stop being a dovah-douche and give people whose crafting stations, crops, or ore you use some gold, you cheapskate. " great mod ! :D :D
Request new FAQ entry: Does anything change if we do/don't pay people?
If not that's totally fine (I'm downloading it anyway just because not every playthrough needs to be a thief =P), I'm just wondering if there's some sort of reputation tracker, if NPC relationships are affected by whether you compensate them or not, that sort of thing.
There is another mod that does something like this: Crafting Requires Permission. It can be found at:

Basically, the mod I mentioned requires you to rent crafting stations that are not your own or face the consequences. I hope this helps anyone looking for a similar but more serious mod. Peace!
Oh btw, I think you should make it so that some people actually prompt you to pay them or they will liek start hitting you for a limited amount of time or liek... call the guards or something.. farmers should definitely be more strict tho.

EDIT: Wait, I thought would require you to pay people. Still a decent idea.
