I think the vanilla snow texture is really bad, so i made this one. I was hoping to get a more crystallized look on the snow and make it feel more cold. Tell me if you agree or if you know how i can improve it. Endorsements and comments is always appreciated. :)

Description
I think the vanilla snow texture is really bad, so i made this one. I was hoping to get a more crystallized look on the snow and make it feel more cold. Tell me if you agree or if you know how i can improve it. Endorsements and comments is always appreciated. :)
I use normal-map, alpha map, spec-maps (normal alpha-maps) and of course diffuse map.
None of my textures are up-scaled and they are all heavily tweaked in Photoshop, some are even made from scratch.
this pack include:
-snow texture (1,2 & snow01alta)
-foot prints (this only replace the old footprints in the vanilla, which are use like a road texture - hence you don't make footprints when you are waking.
-snowy grass
-snow road
-snow LOD (256x266 - twice the original size)
This texture pack works great with:
Better Dynamic Snow and Just-Ice (The Ruffled Feather)
Real Roads for Skyrim (recommended)
Vivid Weathers (recommended)
Enhanced Lights and FX
Climates of Tamriel
Climates of Tamriel - Weather Patch - Snow (Choose HQSnow under the installation)
What version should I choose?
1024 might be better on slower computers, but remember that it probably would not make much impact performance wise in those areas covered with snow since the total number of loaded textures are few anyways, also this pack does not include that many textures, so overall it might not be much of a gain/loss. Unless your computer already are suffering I recommend you to try 2048 first.
If you chose esp or separate depends on your needs, ESP might help keep your skyrim folder clean, just make sure its loaded after other snow textures esp (if any). Since all textures in my pack include the snow texture it is not recommended to replace any of them with other packs. So ESP might be a good idea to make sure they are not overwritten. Also I would recommend using nexus mod manager, so that you can keep track of what textures you have installed and when their is a new version.
If you normally run skyrim through the launcher I would recommend the steam workshop version, since it will auto-update, note its only provided in 2048 res.
