    Anticipated answers to questions:

    Q: Why did you add a dragon?
    A: Because I can and because I like dragons and have never seen them used as a guard before.

    Q: Doesn't that break the lore-friendliness?
    A: I don't think so. We can summon Durnehviir and / or Odahviing and they act as protectors in our "time of need".

    Q: Where is the Dragon Priest Mask display and can I put my Dragon Priest masks there?
    A: There's a glass display case above the fireplace on the main floor, and yes you can. This is why all the DLC's are required.

    Q: How can I get my followers to live here?
    A: I know AFT has an option where you can set a follower's home location. As far as the beds go, there's another mod called My Home Is Your Home. Reports claim this will do the trick.

    Q: Are you really sure about that dragon?
    A: YES, YES, and YESSSS! I like dragons.

    Q: Where are the storage facilities located?
    A: The armor storage is located on the wall next to the dining table on the main floor.
    A: The enchanter's supplies are accessible by going up to the second floor and hovering over the crate full of soul gems next to the arcane enchanter.
    A: The potions storage is located on the second floor at the shelves full of static potions. Oh I've left a few things in there to get ya started.
    A: The smithing supplies storage is located outside on the shelves near the blacksmith forge.

    Q: What's that pull chain do in the basement off the wall to the kids bedroom?
    A: Pull it and see what happens :-)

    Q: Are you crazy?
    A: Depends who ya ask. Maybe the figure behind me can provide a more definitive answer.

    Q: Can I make requests for additions?
    A: Sure, but one thing I kind of insist on is that the idea is somewhat original. I know this is difficult with a game like Skyrim that's been modded to Oblivion ( ok, bad joke there ). Or if I've missed something that a player home should have, which is entirely possible, let me know :-)

    Q: Do you plan on adding any of the weapon plaques?
    A: NO!!! Those things are buggy at best and I've never seen them work 100% all the time. Weapons tend to fall off or disappear altogether. Display cases do work and are much more elegant anyway.

    Q: Why do you use a segregated storage system?
    A: Because I'm an organized person. You wouldn't catch me storing paint brushes in a refrigerator or apples in a tool box.

    Just want to say thanks to everyone for making this my most endorsed player home. I was kind of hoping this would be my most popular mod as I've taken quite a liking to it.

    6/10/2016 So it's been awhile since I've uploaded any updates to this mod. Well, as it happens I've been working on quite a few on the weekends. New things coming are as follows:

    Unique Weapon displays throughout the house ( Think of weapons like Mehrunes Razor, The Ebony Blade, etc. )
    Small cavern filled with alchemical ingrediants
    AI Packages for the human guards ( Sleeping and eating mainly )
    A rather "expensive to cast" spell to conjure the dragon. It just has to be this way because conjuring a dragon isn't like conjuring some silly skeever.
    And of course more eye candy because I love eye candy :-)

    New update has been uploaded.

    Which version of this mod is featured in images 12-15? Particularly the bedroom. I have 4.1 and mine looks nothing like that. In fact pulling the chain doesn't produce waterfalls at all, just the splash.

    Also. stupid question. 4.1 doesn't need the 4.03 patch does it? The note activation is kinda janky for me and when It does work the note is squares and daedric font.

      Don't remember. I haven't used this version in ages. I don't even have Oldrim anymore. I'm on SSE. This mod was ported to SSE as well.

    Skyrim SE? and if you say somethin about SKSE there is SKSE64 which is just SKSE for skyrim SE

      The pull chain toggles the water between on and off.

    Hey Chris, loving the mod man. I remember telling you once that I would try some of your mods and that I'd start with this one. I had forgotten to until now because I've been so tired after work, sawing through concrete and busting out tunnels for pipes. Anyways, as of now this is one of the best home mods I've tried in a long while, so I endorsed and provided some pictures. However I did notice a few small things that stood out and I can mention them in a pm if you want, I thought it would only be right to at least bring it to your attention.

    Also sorry about that tree in the pool in the screen shots, I couldn't remove that thing with console command or inside the Dark forest of skyrim mod itself; it's stubborn as hell. Why did that mod author have to place a tree right there in that spot, of all the places in the wilderness it has to be right there. Anyways keep up the good work man, catch you later.

      Yes thank you so much my friend. And I sure understand the exhaustion as well. I work as an independent web developer and delivery driver on the side. I've also taken to working on a new land mod which rivals the size of Solstheim. Thanks for the kind words and images. It's always nice to see one's work in the context of another's game with different mods. By all means, send me a PM about the irregularities and I'll see what I can do.

      I just so happen to order off amazon a lot, that would be so weird if you happen to be the ups delivery guy this whole time and we didn't know about it LOL. Ill try to send you a pm with some screenshots of stuff that cropped up/possible fixes when you get the chance. Nobody ever tells me whats going on in my mods or shows me anything, so I've had to trial and error myself countless times.

    Bad mod.
    I played.
    Exterior is a GREAT! I love exterior ofthis house!
    But inside.. god save us!
    A fog into a room, not active weapon pannels, into dova privat room the pit with water! Not pool, the pit! Why this pit in my room? Why so low upper-candles, I push its by my head!

      Read description pages much? How about read much in general? There are no fog objects in this mod, the weapon panels actually do something, which is listed on the description page. You can be as disappointed as you can be, I didn't make this mod solely for your approval.

    On a side note, I wanted to let you know that the mod Worlds Dawn is not compatible. It attempts to put various things in the chests in your mod that are made for only specific items.. so with that, it keeps spamming error messages. Your house mod is not the only it does this too but I thought you might want to be aware for future reference.

      Heya Penguin, can you send me a private message showing the error messages? No promises but maybe I can come up with a safeguard against what Worlds Dawn is doing. I worked tirelessly on those scripted containers and would hate to see another mod mess with them. Thanks much for the kind words.

      EDIT: I guess if we uncheck the option "Scan Containers" from Worlds Dawn, it will stop the error messages from spamming. Though I don't know what other repercussions this might have on the functionality of the mod.

      Sure, I can do that... give me just a few to re-upload that mod.

      I know about unchecking the "Scan Containers" option.. but in doing that, it stops the mod from putting any loot into any other containers in Skyrim unfortunately. However, I guess I could always just go into MCM of that mod and uncheck it while around your mod and that should work as well. I've tried commenting on World Dawn about the issue as have other players, but we've had no response from the mod author unfortunately. Thanks for such a quick response too!

      Edit: Okay, sent you a PM with what the error says and uploaded an image of the error that spams. Thanks so much for looking into this, it's more then I expected! I honestly was just letting you know so you could be in the description that it was incompatible unless unchecking the "Scan Containers" option.. so thanks again!

      Heya Charlyxx, I'm sorry I didn't respond but I had no idea a new comment was posted. Anyway, I'm glad you like the choice in music for this mod. I often use music from Vindsvept and Adrian Von Zieglar in my mods. Please consider subbing their youtube channels as it shows appreciation for their works.

    My bedroom has a leak! Just kidding. It was my fault, I got crazy with some water elementals, we drank to much...I'm sure you know how it goes.

    I'm not usually a fan of other people's house mods because I like to make my own, and it's tough to find something that fits my style, etc. BUT! I like the way you tossed out the standard boiler-plate house pattern, and did what you wanted to do. I like seeing objects I've never seen before, and it's particularly enjoyable when somebody does something that makes me think "Now how the hell did he do that?"

    Brass scientific gizwizzes, the elf statue, the red hanging lamps in the master bedroom, and fish swimming under GLASS FLOORS?!?


    The plaques with the daedra hands...are these going to fill up as I earn weapons from various daedric quests? You mentioned something in the sticky, but I am unclear still.

    Glad you told mentioned the dragon, I would have totally killed it from a distance. But it's safe...eating some bandits.

      Place your unique weapons in the storage container marked "Place Unique Weapons" and a static counterpart will appear on a pre-determined weapon rack. There's also an MCM Menu which acts as a kind of checklist for the unique weapons you've collected. I also provide clues as to where the unique weapons are. Thanks much for the kind words Ahondara.

      Glad ya like Ahondara. If I didn't mention it before, the house is compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoption so we can have the orphans live there too :-) Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions is needed for the functionality to kick in, but not having it won't hurt anything.
