Is there a way to keep these from being added to so many random leveled lists? I'm finding these on so many  characters like Jarl Balgruuf in ways that sorta' ruin the aesthetic of things.

It would be nice to have these be more rare and found only on arcane wizardy types or the like. As it stands it feels a bit too intrusive in the game.

Also maybe a prerequisite of crafting or obtaining a book on how to craft them before they are added to the crafting list would be nice.

P.S. = The design is nice... but maybe a bit too shiny with lenses that are a little too opaque? A more mundane and less reflective version with clearer frames would be lovely~! ?

The mod includes a script which adds these to a couple of characters, namely Balgruuf. (Read the included readme) You can edit leveled lists in xEdit if you find them appearing on enemies too often.

I really really love those. Can't live without this mod in my load order anymore... seeing Jarl Balgruuf without glasses feels wrong <3

Yeah, but they need some means of support. Right now they don't live up to the mod name, because they just hover in mid-air in front of your face. I like the Dwemerish look, though. People going on and on about lens tint and reflections need to learn how to use TES5Edit and NIFSkope and a graphics app like GIMP. Tweaking that kind of stuff would only take a few minutes, and not requir emuch in the way of know-how. Re-meshing things to have some kind of frame, strap, or other means of staying on your face would make more skills, though, with something like 3DSMax or Blender. In theory, it might be doable with Outfit Studio, if one imported some little bits from something else, and worked them into place.

They're supposed to be pinched on the wearer's nose, which is actually how glasses were made for a time. Hence the name, "Realistic Eyeglasses." Though having earpieces as support wouldn't be unrealistic at all.

I like this mod a lot, but is there any way for circlets to still exist while using it? It seems that everything in the game that would have been a circlet got forcibly turned into glasses. I find it surprising that no one has commented on this, and I'm even more surprised it's an issue, as the glasses aren't considered circlets in-game, nor do they take up a head slot like circlets do. Is there any way of fixing this without uninstalling the mod?

I have had this mod installed for ages and I still have circlets and the eyeglasses.

I like the concept, but I feel like there needs to be more variety (and i don't mean different colors on the same structured texture.) what sets the great mods apart from the good ones is the effort clearly put into each individual item, and this mod sadly feels rather copy/pasted. I like the level of variety you have put into it already but I feel like what this mod really needs are some more spectacles in different forms, such as monocles for an evil villain, some standard glasses supported by arms that are held in place by the ears (like dumbledore's half moon glasses), or some big heavy safety goggles for an aspiring blacksmith/tinkerer. you already have some amazing colors and themes established, now all it needs is a few different designs to appeal to a wider audience.

Just a quick question: On the SE port there is a problem with the black eyeglasses being too light, with the glasses almost being invisible. I jsut wanted to ask you: If I wanted to change that with absolutley no modding skills what so ever, how would I go about it? :D

I kinda wish there was a version with only clear glass, or with only a slight greenish tint like in the glass used to build stuff in Hearthfire.

Because while I'm fine with the design of the glasses frame, the face that the actual lenses are so dark makes them look like sunglasses to me, and I just really don't like that design.

    Perfect!

I tend to do roleplay/cosplay playthoughs of various Bethesdia games.
My next play-though is going to be of Vayne, from League of Legends. I already got mods and build for the silver bolts, 3 shot devastating passive, the tumbling, kiting, outplaying, invisibility super mode, and the hair. But I still needed those infamous scary red glasses.

Wish me luck on the hunt against black magicks, and anything unnatural and unholy.
