This mod will change the texture of iron ore veins to red/brown instead of grey metallic.
I got irritated that the iron ore veins in Skyrim had this grey metallic texture when iron ore occurring naturally often has a red/brown colouration due to oxidisation of the iron by the air.
VERSIONS
- 1.0.1 Added custom glow map to highlight ore vein differently. Also added optional higher saturation version.
- 1.0 Initial release, default glow map, dull red/brown texture.
INSTALLATION
Install (manual): Unzip the Textures folder into your Skyrim\Data folder.
Uninstall (manual): Delete ore_iron_e.dds from your Skyrim\Data\Textures\Cubemaps folder.
Incompatibilities: Anything that alters the iron ore vein texture file.
