Had my eye on this house since it came out. Main reason didn't test it before was because it requires a second mod - General Displays - just to get it going.
But with a new play via Alternate Start and being in Windhelm early on, I did test it tonight.
Fantastic house! Much better than I expected. Everything inside and outside is nicely laid-out.
In the CK for my copy I did swap the chair, as it exited into desk. Swapped it for one that exits right or left. (Also lowered a navmesh that was too high near/on the mannequin.)
Also changed the horses to include playerhorsefaction, so they don't walk off when dismount like a stolen horse. (Can also now feed the horses via iNeed mod.) I also gave Fleetfoot? a bit more speed to match the name. Other horse got a bit more stamina.
Using new-to-me climate/lighting mod called RCRN-AE. Place looks really good inside and out.
Currently only level 6 or so and am partially using Hjerim after finishing Blood on the Ice (can use the bed and a couple of containers.)
I think I'll keep this house for some time.
Great job!
PS: Got the lady Imperial follower from the East Empire Company (Adelasia ?) as a follower for testing. But no AFT or other follower mod yet this play to see how followers relax in and at the place.
EDIT: Went to house for "first time" twice. Both times a wolf was harassing horses in stable. May be on or near a spawn point.
So, was the snowy sabre cat hiding inside the house a little trick you played on me, or what? Because I walked in the front door, started looking around, and got attacked by a big mean kitty who tried to eat my low-level face. Two thirds of the non-static items in the house got blown around the room in the resulting battle, so I can't say I got to fully appreciate the design you put into the place - it was a bloody, furry mess when all was said and done.
That said -- and kitty of death notwithstanding -- I really like the house. The vaulted ceilings make it seem a lot bigger than it actually is, and the lighting is well done. Thanks for sharing with us!
A sabre cat inside the house?! Goodness. Can you tell me more about the problem? Was it inside the farmhouse itself, or on the exterior grounds somewhere?
Inside the house. Honestly I was probably in combat with him when I entered and didn't know it (like I aggro'd him outside and he chased me through the door), or one of my "MOAR HARDER IMMERSIVE MONSTERS EVERYWHERE" mods felt like dropping him inside for some reason.
He may not know where Hollyfrost farm is...Skyrim is big, and if you havent come across it, how would you know where it is? A map pic would have helped immensely, or at least "Hollyfrost farm is in (hold) by (established landmark)".
BEAUTIFUL...when i read the name and saw "general displays" i said "i hope this is the Riverwynd Farm guy"...and was right...but how did you crank this one out so quickly after Riverwynd?
I'm pleased you like it Well, the idea for this one was kind of brewing in the back of my mind while I was finishing up Riverwynd, so the hard part of thinking up a general design was already done. Also, Frostmyre is somewhat smaller than Riverwynd, so there was less messing around with external navmeshing, landscaping, etc., which by far takes me the most time to complete.
If you liked these two, do keep an eye out in the near future... I am already working on another medium-sized project in Markarth

"Frostmyre Farm is a small farmhouse situated directly across from Hollyfrost Farm."
You guys are too much, seriously. Everything you needed to know was right freaking there.
