Path of Sorcery has been updated to version 2.5.3, which has removed all SKSE dependencies. I'm in the process of updating all my patches; so far I've updated this patch and the patches for Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim and More Apocalypse.
Now that Path of Sorcery has been ported Skyrim Special Edition, I'm also working converting any relevant patches and hope to have those up in the next day or two.
How do the patches work? This is an Elemental Destruction patch for PoS, there is an Apocalypse patch for Pos, but hell, I'd love Apocalypse earth (and other) spells to belong to the proper element perks as well). Though I doubt threeway patches are anything but nasty business.
Maybe it's just me but is anyone else having trouble with the Atromancy perk in the Conjuration tree? I can't purchase the skill with this patch on. And if I turn this patch off, buy the skill, then turn it back on, the skill remains grayed out and I receive no benefit from it.
It's not too big of a deal as it's just one perk point, but it'd be nice to get the bonuses for it, if it could be fixed.
I wasn't able to replicate this and no one else has reported the issue.
The first thing I would try is reinstalling Path of Sorcery and then this patch. If that doesn't resolve the problem, there may be a conflict somewhere else in your load order.
Keep up the great job, mate! You enrich the gaming experience for everyone here, and are very grateful for having you around. I just wish I could offer more than just gratefulness, but college doesn't leave one swimming in the dough.
In regards to Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim, I ended up making a patch which steelfeathers has kindly included with the other patches in the Path of Sorcery downloads.
Merging the perk trees from PoS and Ordinator would be a truly massive undertaking, which unfortunately I don't have the time for. Sorry.
Maybe I'm just slow right now and didn't grasp this properly but I think he meant a compability patch between Elemental Destruction Magic and Ordinator, not a mixture of Ordinator and PoS. I actually came here to ask for this myself since Ordinator just had an update which is mostly a rework of the magic trees and I'm looking forward to make use of it. I guess if this isn't possible I could resort to Apocalypse because of the given compability but I'm not so comfortable with 150 new spells in my game. Elemental Destruction Magic is closer to vanilla and hence feels more natural, plus it doesn't bloat your list of spells much further. And the idea of playing a water, wind or earth magic user is very interesting.
No, you could be totally right; I may have misunderstood the question.
I just had a look at the Ordinator Destruction tree and I think it changes too much from vanilla to make patching with EDM a viable option for me. Although I could probably make a patch that simply incorporates the Earth, Water, and Wind perks from EDM into the Ordinator tree, I don't think it would do either mod justice (the equivalent vanilla perks don't even exist in Ordinator).
Aww, that's a shame but it's okay. I feel a bit bad for asking for this anyway since it's your time I'd be wasting with it.
And you're probably right that it's not a good idea to incorporate the EDM tree into the Ordinator tree. It would not be very interesting to go for the perks.
I've added a new version of the patch which incorporates the Adaptability perk which steelfeathers added in Path of Sorcery version 2.4, allowing it to also provide earth, water or wind resistance.
I agree. I plan to eventually add some additional perks to those elements to parallel the additions PoS makes to the vanilla elements, but I've got a handful of other projects that I need to finish first.

You saved my mage from the lack of spells
>thanks for the patch.
>could possibly you make a PoS patch for Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim?
I could probably make a patch if no one else does, but I've got a couple other projects I'm working on so it may take me a while to get to it.
the two authors of those mods didnt want to make any patch.
