I entered "Skybound Watch Pass" and with my Setup (Silent Horizons ENB, LUX ...) there was a ugly white fog that was stuttering around with 5 FPS. I did exacvtly as "b7ll" mentioned below and YES! It works.
i think the reason some people are saying this doesn't work for them is that there are some fogs that aren't the normal meshes that he went through and replaced with blanks. some fogs work like weather effects, and are thus named things like "fxcameraattachfog.nif" and "fxcameraattachwispyfog.nif," etc. these are found with the other weather effects like falling leaves in datamesheseffects, not datamesheseffectsambient like all the ones he replaced are. what i did was just take one of the blank .nif files he provides in this mod and renamed them to the fxcameraattach____.nif files that i wanted gone.
there are 24 of these types of files in datamesheseffects; i just went through stuck a blank in for all the ones that sounded like fog. if you have a particular area you are still having fog in, you can go to that space in the CK and the area you're having that fog should be contained in a giant red box (zoom way out). double click the box, cycle through the tabs to the very last one, "scipts." here you can find what camera effects are attached to that box. they should all be in the directory i listed above.
i'm not entirely sure these fogs are limited to inside, but they seem to be.
Xandre I realize your post is almost 4 years old, but this is exactly the information I needed to fix Pinewatch. I copied fxmistlow01.nif from this mod's meshes/effects/ambient and used it to create the following files in meshes/effects:
Literally in Pinewatch right now which has me here looking for fog removers. Installed Remover Interior Fog and Interior and Dungeon Fox Remover - Fog Mesh Replacer, went back into game, FOR THE F*****G LOVE!!! Seen your comment here and now I'm gonna give it a try!
Holy cow! That did it! Like others here, it was Pinewatch, and Pinewatch alone that had me looking for fog removers. Sorry for reviving this nearly 10 years later, but I think this should be pinned for anyone with the same issue.
Thanks to b7ll and to everyone who thew in their two cents in the matter at hand.
It might be caused by a lighting mod that expects the fog to be there. That's just my instant, knee-jerk reaction of an answer. I haven't even tried the mod myself yet, so sorry if that doesn't help, lol. I have heard that using mods that remove exterior fog can be a bad idea when using some weather mods though. Maybe you're seeing the effects of another mod not mixing well with the effects of this one.
En teoria solo cambia texturas o partículas. El idioma del juego no debería verse afectado en ningún aspecto. Lo único que puede pasar es que no funcione por el simple hecho de que el mod es demasiado viejo.
Although i don't really want this md for the sake of performance anymore i still like it because i never really understood how it as possibly to have foggy interiors in normal homes. I mean open a goddamn window from time to time alreaddy dammit!

fxcameraattachblowingfog.nif
fxcameraattachfog.nif
fxcameraattachgroundfog.nif
fxcameraattachturbulentfog.nif
fxcameraattachwispyfog.nif
and voila, no obnoxious fog billowing around my camera in Pinewatch. Thank you sir and thank you 747823.
I second this notion.

Can you send the final version of the mod, including the fog removal and the changes made by the member above for Pinewatch?
