ABOUT THE HOUSE OF TROUBLES
Situated along the Hammerfell border, on the road Southwest of Falkreath, lies a curious inn by the name of The House of Troubles.

Whether from Hammerfell, Cyrodil, Skyrim or elsewhere (including Elsweyr), the inn is home to all sorts, and caters to any weary traveler that happens by, (provided their coin is the right color: gold). The inn is currently under the ownership of a rather agreeable man known only as Griffy. With a cast of regulars, known more by their actions than their actual names, Griffy has been feeding and housing those in need for as long as any can remember.

The House of Troubles offers all the amenities an adventurer might need, including a full smithing station, a chopping block, an enchanter's table, and an alchemy station. And for the less fortunate, or those unwilling to spend the coin, Griffy even offers a place to camp outside, free of charge.

So, come and kick off your boots and warm yourself by the one of a kind hearth. Enjoy a hot meal and all the mead you can drink. And remember: Fortune Favors those at The House of Troubles.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE HOUSE OF TROUBLES?
Plans for additional releases of this mod are already in the works. Among the items on our todo list are quests, voiced NPCs and lots or books. CouchWarrior Networks has been producing many book and journals as part of our other projects and these books will be added to this mod through leveled lists. These books will not require that you update The House Of Troubles! We will be releasing a library mod that will add the books to both the mage college library and the book cases in the loft of the inn so stay tuned.

For more information on the books and other projects we are working on check out the Character Crusade web site at: www.charactercrusade.com

COMPATIBILITY
If running Dyeable Capes, Unique Border Gates, and / or Salt Mines of Skyrim, they need to come before The House Of Troubles in your load order.
The House Of Troubles compatibility patches for Unique Border Gates and Salt Mines of Skyrim must come last (after The House of Troubles).

REQUIREMENTS
The House of Troubles has no prerequisites and will run well with or without any of the DLCs.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
The House of Troubles has been created in a way that can enhance your role play, but at the same time, doesnt take itself too seriously. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed creating it. And be sure to check back from time to time, as we already have a bunch of ideas for future enhancements.

We recommend using the mod manager of your choice.

RECOMMENDED MODS
1. Jaxonz Positioner is great if you wish to make the attic into a living space!
2. Dyeable Capes adds a building across the street and is a wonderful compliment to The House Of Troubles. Make sure House Of Troubles is loaded after Dyeable Capes!
3. There are Smuggler's Barrels in the basement of The House Of Troubles! If you are interested in being a smuggler check out our Smuggler's Barrels Mod!
4. Unique Border Gates will add a great deal of color and activity to the various border gates in Skyrim. In conjunction with The House Of Troubles, this border pass comes alive!
5. Add some spice to The House Of Troubles with Salt Mines of Skyrim. Located just behind the Wilderness Hostel is a large salt deposit, so be sure to grab your pick axe and load up before venturing back into the wilds of Skyrim.

FAQs
Q: What if I've already downloaded version 1? Do I need to download the main file again?
A: No. If you already have version 1.0.0 already, there is no need to download the main file again. Instead, to make The House of Troubles compatible with Unique Border Gates and/or Salt Mines of Skyrim, simply download the correct patch file and install it like any other mod, making sure that the patch file comes after the main file. See Load Order below.

Q: What's new?
A: Version 1.1.0 is being released as a Fomod which will make installing optional compatibility patches for Unique Border Gates and Salt Mines of Skyrim. But, strictly speaking, it contains no new features.

Q: Is it safe to uninstall?
A: Yes. The House of Troubles is not currently a scripted mod, and should uninstall cleanly. That being said, it's always a good idea to have a clean save prior to the deinstallation of any mod.

Q: I use Mod Organizer|Nexus Mod Manager. Are there any special instructions that I need to be aware of?
A: Nope! Let your utility do its thang! (and yes, we did just say thang :) )

Q: I can't get into the barracks on the other side of the gate!
A: You shouldn't be able to, not yet anyhow. The barracks were added to enhance the atmosphere, but were not actually intended to be entered. But fear not! There are plans to make the barracks more interactive in future releases.

Q: I've been following CouchWarrior on YouTube for awhile now, is Erinyes Arcana *really* over with?
A: Yep. But, as a follower of CouchWarrior, you should already be aware of the latest series, 5 Fables. :)

Q: Can you recommend any good Skyrim-related podcasts?
A: Funny you should ask! Check out Character Crusade! Available on iTunes and Soundcloud, see the website for details.

A: Those last two FAQ's seem a bit sketchy. Those are obviously plugs for other endeavors. Have you no shame?!
Q: Nope, not really, but before you condemn us to Oblivion, check them out! :)
