I'd just like to provide everyone, especially all loyal Revenant ENB users out here eagerly awaiting an update, with a somewhat personal update about Version 3 which has been in the works for, well... forever it seems. A lot of stuff has happened in my life the past 2 years or so, and it has had quite the impact on my free time allocation. Besides some personal things, I got a new job and I've bought a house which pretty much consumes most of my free time renovating it. In addition, my old gaming PC which I've had for about 8 years, with some components being even older, died on me last year. This really put a hard stop to my ENB work. It took quite some saving and waiting before I could order all my components to build a new gaming system that I'm now using. I am using an OLED display now, for optimal color and contrast tweaking.
With that said, I'm now slowly getting back into modding and picking up where I left off. I can't really predict when Version 3 will be ready for release, but I can assure you that it will come. Being the perfectionist I am, things just take longer for me to do in general, but I've spent too much time in this project, and Skyrim LE in general, that I'm not going to abandon it any time soon
COMING NEXT: Revenant ENB V3 for ENBSeries 0.479: Major graphical overhaul This update will bring a massive new weather patch specially designed for Revenant ENB (plus additional patches) that will be more tailored to the feeling of Climates of Tamriel (+ Weather Patch) and True Storms, rather than Vivid Clouds and Fogs for CoT, and also my own taste. Some highlights to expect: more realistic and consistent skies, colors and lighting (all ESP normalized in intensity across the board); greater influence of aurora on environment; vastly improved existing weathers in general; new overcast type weathers (including custom ENB weathers to further aid in diversity); expanded precipitation level system for all weather types (overcast/rain/snow/fog/ash) by using new shaders and sounds; new Time of Day settings (vampire adjusted, including dialogue); lots of fixes; updated installer and probably much more! Revenant ENB will become more than just an ENB; it will be a proper weather, lighting and audio overhaul together with other mods, that will bring Climates of Tamriel to a whole new level!
Thank you all for 2.500+ endorsements and 40.000+ unique downloads!!
Version R2.4+ uses fGamma=1.0000 - adjust your INIs when updating from a previous version!

Not really, but it's probably not a bug. It looks like this is fog related, which isn't quite optimized yet in R2.5. Fog is really annoying to work with in ENB because it sort of masks objects (and only objects, not sky), instead of concealing everything, and it doesn't respond well between weathers, but most of the time you still need it. The mist effect works much better and realistically. You can alter the settings for fog at the bottom of the [ENVIRONMENT] section.
I have FPS drops when a fog appears in close range. At this moments the camera moves with a little delay, it feels like the character moves under water. Is there any way to fix it?
Okay, nevermind, FPS drops was caused by Vivid Clouds and Fogs. I reinstalled this mod with only clouds options enabled, without any fog related options.
I'm trying to use Medium preset, everything looks fine, but when I cast Flames to nearby surface, I have significant FPS drop. Which parameter should I set to lower value? My GPU is RTX 3050.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yeah, that is most likely caused by the "ComplexFireLights" effects. In the [EFFECT] section, try disabling "EnableComplexFireLights" in-game (Shift+Enter to open ENB menu), or set "EnableComplexFireLights=false" in enbseries.ini (Skyrim root folder). Alternatively, go the the [COMPLEXFIRELIGHTS] section and disable "EnableBigRange", or lower "BigRangeScale" until FPS is sufficient. Don't forget to save your changes. This effect makes flames emit light on nearby surfaces, but you won't really miss it I think.
New issue. When I look to a fireplace, my FPS drops to about 45-55. Sounds like it is insignificant loss of FPS, but it is very noticeable, because the game suddenly slows down whenever I look to a fireplace.
Okay, nevermind, that FPS drops was caused for me by ELFX. I have tried two another options: RLO and without any lighting mod. Both has not caused FPS drops.
My system is i5-9400F, RTX 3050, 16gb RAM, Skyrim installed on SSD and I use Medium preset of Revenant ENB.
By the way, I want to try Ultra and High presets. Can I just turn on all disabled effects listed in the presets spreadsheet on the description page? And how do I change Effect Quality?
This white stripe disappeared when I restarted the game. Should I be worried about it? Maybe there is something to do in order to prevent this bug to appear in a future?
I have no idea, but I doubt it's ENB related. My guess is it's related to a bad mesh/texture from the weather mods, which is out of my control. I've seen bad seams in the clouds before. If you could give me the current weather ID the next time you see this, I can check weather the same happens for me.
If your textures look like that, they were not designed for parallax, they don't work with it. Either try different textures, or you can indeed turn it off by setting FixParallaxBugs=false and FixParallaxTerrain=false under [FIX] in enblocal.ini (but that will obviously disable the parallax effect entirely, also for textures that do support it).
That's ENB rain and textures, but it's quite difficult to make it look good (it's not great yet in R2.5). You can play around with the settings in the [RAIN] section yourself, or just disable it completely to get the textures from your dedicated rain mod like True Storms.
I've disabled ENB rain completely and now I play with vanilla rain.
Is this problem caused by something on my side? It doesn't supposed to look like this, right? Strange, because I have no mods that affect weather except "Climates Of Tamriel-V", "Vivid Clouds and Fogs" and "Wonders of Weather".
Nah, it's not caused on your side if you have just those mods installed. I know the settings in the current version of my ENB are different, and also ENBSeries has evolved, so it wasn't that great yet.
Is there any way to change Fantasy Vibrance value without repeating installation process? Also, which value is equal to RealVision's value of Fantasy Vibrance?
Yes there is! You can do it in-game as well very easily. Open the ENB menu, enable "Show shaders window", and in the new window open the "EFFECT.TXT" section. Here you'll see the 3 Vibrance settings to change, you can make them any value you want. You can also edit the file in your Skyrim root folder, "effect.txt.ini", however that file won't be there if you didn't select a Fantasy option in the installer, in that case just edit it in-game.
RealVision's value for the effect is 0.4 (or 40% as I would call it in the installer).
New issue: I lost my DoF. It isn't a big issue, but I kinda liked having it when going into conversations. DoF is on in enbseries.ini, it's also ticked in SkyrimPrefs.ini (It wasn't before, ticking it didn't do much) and I also set bFloatPointRenderTarget=1. If it's related to enablemist, I'll go without it, because I had to fix a red/black circle around my player that was severely screwing up my vision, and disabling mist fixed it for me.
If the ENB has been installed correctly, it really sounds like some other mods are conflicting with it in a weird way, because ENBs generally do not conflict with anything in terms of breaking functionality because it uses external files and doesn't interact with plugin or file load orders. You say you first had some kind of red/orange ring problem which was fixed by disabling mist, which in turn disables your FOV blur (don't you mean DoF)? Then you fixed that by disabling ENB water, and then you lost your DoF (again?). I'm afraid I'm not quite following anymore, sorry.
Hello! I've been using this ENB for quite a while now, and I love it. However, I get some issues with bodies of water. I have RW2, but I don't think it's the culprit. I've fixed it before around two months ago with a different computer, and I vaguely recall that it had something to do with either this ENB preset itself, or something with ENB. Would you have any idea what would cause it? I want to keep using this ENB, it's absolutely gorgeous. But I don't want to keep making adjustments constantly with the ENB. I fixed an issue with a red/orange ring around my character during the daylight hours by disabling mist, and that in turn somehow disabled my FOV blur. What am I doing wrong? Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Edit: Guys, if you're having the same issue I did, just set EnableWater in the enbseries.ini to false!
First I wanted to express my appreciation for this mod. I've stuck with this ENB since 2015. No ENB has come close.
Quick question: I am using DynDOLOD, does that mean I should set the Enhanced LOD option to Lowest, since DynDOLOD already decreases FPS due to the LODs? At the moment Enhanced LOD option is set to Medium
Thank you very much! But, my ENB exists since 2016 so how could you have been using it since 2015?
I personally haven't yet used DynDOLOD, but I suspect my LOD settings can be used regardless of that mod. My advice: just try out different settings (the options I provide are just presets). Tip: you can tweak this setting in-game as well using the ENB editor (Shift+Enter), LodBias under the [ENGINE] section.

Try these settings:
[RAIN]
IgnoreWeatherSystem=true
Enable=true
EnableAntialiasing=false
EnableSupersampling=false
UseOriginalTexture=false
Motion_Stretch=0.75 (without underscore)
Motion_Transparency=0.75 (without underscore)
Refraction_Factor=0.5 (without underscore)
BrightnessDawn=1.5
BrightnessSunrise=1.5
BrightnessDay=1.5
BrightnessSunset=1.5
BrightnessDusk=1.5
BrightnessNight=1.5
BrightnessInteriorDay=1.5
BrightnessInteriorNight=1.5
