Great mod, works well with Become a Bard. It looks more like a mandolin than a lute, and should be bigger, but that's the fantasy bard trope's fault, not the mod's (lutes were not meant for dungeon crawling). The animation often takes the player's left hand above the neck, which shouldn't happen, but the only way to fix that would to be to make the neck longer. Obviously there's all kinds of clipping with different armor sets, and the only solution there is to wear clothing and lower the player's bodyslide weight. Overall, it looks far better than the made-up lute-shaped-like-a-harp that wouldn't even resonate if it were real (no sound box, and of course no electrical cord). Haven't tested it with backpack mods yet, which will be the real clipping test.
It still clips if your female characters' weight slider is set to max. In fact, you have to set it to below medium to keep the right can from poking through. This is vanilla skeleton, of course. I'm sure all the hentai/waifu skeletons out there either fix the issue or make it 100x worse.
Regardless, the only way to prevent clipping on males or females is to wear clothing. Nearly all armor clips through the vanilla lute and this one too. There are a few exceptions, but as stated above, female body slider has to be set to near minimum to prevent clipping even with clothing. Granted, the potato back on this remesh clips through half the player's body, but the only fix for that is to switch back to the vanilla lute.
So pretty!!! Where's the texture on the drum from, if I may ask? I guess it might be vanilla but it looks much nicer than vanilla to me, LOL, and it matches this so nicely...
This replacer applies to all the lutes in skyrim? Or can i download the standalone wearable and say, the patch for become a bard so that only my char will have it?
I was thinking the same! I tried fixing it myself but I can't seem to edit the lute where you play the music. It switches from the witcher lute to vanilla lute. o:
This is very lovely and well done. Sadly, the neck is not long enough so when bards play it, the hands go up too far during play. It would be lovely if the neck was lengthened to appropriately match animations. :-(
