    NEW: 3.0!!!

    This is where I part company with the rest of the other modders who uploaded this mod on Nexus. The mod will now provide three versions in one , selectable by MCM menu.

    Not selecting any option gives you the normal vanilla version.

    Selecting Populated Lands Roads Paths Legendary HELL EDITION gives you 95 SOTOMIZED PLACES, not for the weak of heart. Weak of heart instead please select the new third option, the Lite version from same MCM menu. We will not tell. Its actually possible to have a fourth version by selecting both Lite version and Hell version. You choose. Oh, and you can change your mind at any time, switching between versions on the fly. Is that not cool?

    Hey everyone, I've (finally) uploaded a fixed version of the mod, should have hireable mercenaries and mounted adventurers' combat AI has been fixed so they should be able to fight for real now!

    IMPORTANT: Start a new game! I don't know how to make or edit an MCM, so this current version does not include it. Updating the mod mid playthrough may bloat your save or have unexpected results.

    Hello Tony i'm using EFF in order to hire multiple follower for my playthrough and i noticed that if i hire one of the mercenaries, the other mercenaries can't be hired anymore and this only applied to mercenaries from this mod because other vanilla follower can still follow me after i have one of this mercenaries in my party.

    Can you point me on how to make it so i can hire as many mercenaries as i want at once through tesvedit? thanks for your time, i love populated series

      I do not have a quick answer for you.  My modding time is limited due to life challenges and commitments.  Was not even monitoring comments for about 6 months.  Trying to keep up with comments now, and supporting a little mod I just released.  May be a longish while before I get to this.

      If redfall is any good that may extend the time.

      the npcs in this mod tend to have custom factions and behaviour packages .  I would compare one of the mercenaries from this mod to a vanilla geenric soldier or whatever looks closest in the game and see what differences there are.  However, we still would need to know what is EFF specifically looking for.  So dissection EFF may be necessary.  This kind of project would take me an evening, time I simply do not have.

    Very good mod that makes roads and cities much more lively, this mod combined with something like https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/110490?tab=posts&BH=0
    and voila skyrim has taken a fresh look

    The MOD idea is great, but the assassin at the beginning of the game is absurd. It spawns 50% of the time in a new game. He heals, has high damage and kills city and tavern NPCs (many NPCs) easily.

    And there's an extra. A knight in steel armor, mounted on a horse that has no head and walks normally around (and I'm not talking about the Headless Horseman ghost).

    I would suggest traveling Bandits and Highwaymen who attack the travelers randomly along the roads and outskirts of cities so that the Player doesn't feel like sole target in what feels like the Harry Skyrim Show like in Oblivon and Morrowind.

      The Hell Edition can be a bit rough on lower-end PCs, especially if you have a large amount of mods. :)

    CTD from startup after uninstallation? How to fix this. I uninstalled it to replace it with the Hell Edition (forgot about that), but then CTD occurs after the Bethesda Logo.

      Do you have any patches that depend on this mod as a master? Missing masters are usually the cause for CTD after the Bethesda logo.

      Yep, found it. Turns out it was the hell edition that caused it. Any idea how to fix it?

      Without seeing your load order, it could be a number of things. If you're using a Bashed or Smashed patch, it'd need to be rebuilt too. Also, Hell Edition relies on USLEEP. Do you have that installed?

    I've tried the newest version (3.1) several times now via manual download and every time the .rar can't be opened, and can't be identified as an archive. 

    Is it possible that the archive is corrupt. Anyone else have this issue?

      I just downloaded it manually and opened it on my end without any problems. What archive software are you using? I'm using WinRAR.

    That is impressive that you made this mod without using any scripts :O
    Most would make all kinds of scripts for any npc, especially with schedules to go in and out of places.
