long shot commenting but i get [12] Error: missing msvcr100.dll? i have latest version of redistributable downloaded. even went back and downloaded 2010 version?
Hi, the error code for xWMAEncode is not available to us, so we don't know for sure. Please check the following - If the size (length) of the WAV file is too large, it may not be able to be converted, try reducing the sampling frequency of the xwm encoder options. - Make sure the codec of the WAV file is pcm32 or pcm16. - Make sure the WAV file is not corrupted. Does it play correctly on your audio player?
Hello! Okay so I fixed the problem by having a 32bit xWMAEncode.exe in the same folder as YakitoriAudioConverter.exe instead of a 64bit. Now im trying to convert FLAC to xwm and i get this error:
[4] Error: Unable to convert sound file. External command ffmpeg.exe error. ExitCode: 1, CmdParam: -hide_banner -loglevel warning -y -i "C:\Users\35840\Music\09 Frozen Lands.flac" -f wav -ac 2 -ar 48k -codec pcm_s64le "C:\Users\35840\Documents\Skyrim Music Converter\Skyrim Audio Converter\Temp\sgfuf2ff.yxh.wav" Unrecognized option 'hide_banner' Failed to set value '-loglevel' for option 'hide_banner'
Hi again! That error means that ffmpeg's arguments are different from what I know. Where did you download ffmpeg binary from? What is the version of it? Download the 64-bit-static version from the following site and give it a try: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg-windows-builds/
BTW you mentioned a 64-bit version of xWMAEncode. I'm very interested in that, because as far as I know there was only a 32-bit version. Just for reference, where did you get it?
The Internet never forgets, and I am very thankful to found this 2 year old post after searching for 2 hours. ... (starting in Skyrim converters, ending here ... )
My Problem startet with conversion errors in "Skyrim Audio Converter" Searching for different other tools like that, none of them worked.
This tool gave me the first usefull error codes. >> missing mcrsv100.dll installed the 10 year old vcredist ... nothing changed. uninstalled, reinstalled, copied the dll file to program folder: error message changed but was still not functional
>> saw this post here, "not the system or the ressources are the problem, the executional file is not working properly". This hint helped me to find a solution after installing lot of Microsoft stuff i will never need.
There are 2 Versions of xWMAEncode online available. 9.28.1876.0 & 9.29.1962.0
https://www.pconlife.com/viewfileinfo/xwmaencode-exe/ (not the best site to download, but i was too lazy for a directx extract)
when i download the older version and replace it with the one in your program folder, everything works.
I run Windows 11 / 64 bit, using an AMD processor.
thank you thread opener for the hint,
Big Thanks for this very easy, fast and helpful tool.!!
OneBadGerman you just saved me from a pit of despair. Hours spent trying to get LazyVoicefinder to work on my new Win10 machine (after it was working flawlessly on Win 7). THIS was the answer!!
Downloaded the older vers of xWMAEncode (9.28.1876.0) and overwrote the one shipped with LVF. Works perfectly now.
Thanks SO MUCH for coming back and explaining what you did to fix it!! You get a huge kudos from me.
I really love this tool, as I can make my character talk. I already mad a lot of custom voices for my own purpose. Is it possible to increase the number of "´greeting" slots to more than 10? Maybe someone can do a patch for that? That would be great!
When I try to do a conversion - wav to fuz - I get an error message. Error: Unable to convert sound file. External command xWMAEncode.exe error. ExitCode: -1073741515

Brings back memories from the early PC days... scouring the internet for DLLs and drivers!

The perfect workflow for this tool would be
Input MP3 --> Output fuz
(converts text, generates lip file, converts mp3-->wav-->wxm in one step, combines wxm/lip/converted text to final fuz)
Is it possible to increase the number of "´greeting" slots to more than 10? Maybe someone can do a patch for that? That would be great!
