What I do not understand is why this was not made part of the base game. This should have been a natural outcome of Durnehviir's story. It makes perfect sense, seeing that the Dragonborn frees him from being enslaved to the Ideal Masters. As he explains, the only reason he must return to the Soul Cairn is because he has been "living" there for so many years and this has "acclimatized" him to the Cairn. But your idea of slowly resurrecting him should, logically, free him entirely from having to return to the Cairn. So once his body is fully restored, he should be able to live in Tamriel once again without consequence. Wonderful idea. Haven't tried it yet, but I will. Thank you.
VORTEX probably didn't install the correct files from this mod. If so, use Nexus Mod Manager 0.72.3 from GitHub instead. Also, use TES5Edit to see if there are red conflicts with the two mods.
This mod works, and is very enjoyable. Does just what it says on the tin.
I get some errors in Papyrus about the game being unable to apply Durnehviir's spell effects now and then, as the actor to which they should be applied is not present, but it seems to have no negative effects on my game (nor am I even 100% sure it's this mod that causes that).
All in all, endorsed & highly-recommended. A good mod with solid immersion.
Just letting you know, I've just made a patch between Ultimate Dragon Allies - Durvehviir (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21770?tab=description) and this mod. All I really did was use "Copy as override into" on the Durvehviir in your mod but copied the new spells and damage increases from UDA.
I'm trying to manually install this mod but when I load the files into 7-zip they are not exporting into .bsa and .esp. instead, I'm getting a bunch of individual folders. usually, you just drag these freshly exported .esp and .bsa files into Skyrim's data folder. where do I put these random files or is this mod not designed to be manually downloaded? I'm kinda new to manually modding, I'm not using vortex because I can't figure out how to have it get along with steam mods, unlike manually installing them. if anyone knows where I'm supposed to put these or if I'm missing a step your help will be appreciated.
As with my other mod you posted on, this has a FOMOD installer. It's going to be very difficult to get a working install without using a mod manager to run the FOMOD. You don't need to use a mod manager for anything else but you should use it to install FOMODs.
thank you for this great mod though i got to ask, could you make it so that durnehviir becomes rideable just as odahviing? and if not is this mod compatible with "Better Rideable Durnehviir" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32937/)?

your mod really makes Durnehviir beautiful.
Have you thought about re-textured Paarthurnax? With your knowledge, I'm sure you would make a beautiful one too.
Anyway thank you for your mod ^^
