Last week, I was still searching for something like this. What is more "magy" than a floating book ?! But I wish it had some AI and threw spells by itself. I guess I had too much expectations but what about making a floating book that look more like a pet in its behavior ?

I would honestly do this if i had more experience with blender but for now im just making the objects float. Could make a floating pet but it would be pretty static but if thats ok with you.
I have made another mod that makes lydia invisible so all you do is give her the staff spellbook and it seems that once you start a combat she equips it and it totally looks like a book pet. If your interested it is in my description.
wow didnt expect this to get popular so fast, Just something I wanted for my mage and to share lol. What do you guys want for enchantments?. ill try to make and stash them in a chest near farengar or something.
How about you just leave it as it's own thing so we can enchant it as we please? Also, know any mods to change the enchantment table in it? Not a fan of the style for more personal reasons.
I'd say... an increase in effectiveness/duration/damage in all schools of spells or perhaps a boost in skill xp gain in all schools of magicka. EDIT: Oh, never mind, you just did that. :p

I just don't like the pentagram design. Anything that isn't a demonic symbol is much better in my opinion. (Yes i'm aware magic isn't exactly the most holy of things, butI digress.)
